I've got such a head ache right now. I don't feel good and it's all thanks to Sherman my garter snake. I must have not put his lid on right. I've owned snakes for almost four years now and today was the first escape. I went to look at him and noticed he wasn't in the plants or in his log. Then I saw the lid and my stomach sank. My house is a mess with millions of spaces for snakes to hide in and get eternally lost. I started having visions of snakes getting smooshed in shoes, going into toilets, going down drains, getting caught behind book shelves and electronics, getting lost, getting fried and starving to death. Chris tried to calm me down and we started looking for him. He found him behind a dresser in the same room. I'm so glad he never left the room! Well then it was quite a mess with trying to catch him using sticks, flashlights and mirrors. Chris suggested opening the bottom drawer but I didn't want to do that because I didn't want to roll him over. We finally managed to poke him out and he came out on Chris's side. I'm amazed how snakes always go to him. He's got a way with them. I love snakes but I'm definitely better with birds. I was so happy and then I quickly got angry at Sherman for scaring me so bad. "Stupid snake! You almost died. I'll kill you!" I sound like a typical parent don't I? Well I put him back in his cage and locked him up good. I don't want to go through that again. Well that was the biggest excitment for the day today.
Ok and in other news last night Green Iguana and I started our first RP on aim. Fun fun fun. I look forward to doing the next part tonight. She wants to challenge Thagirion. Hoo boy. I'll be glad. I may do a side story just for us to fight. I found my old copy of Journey Through the Dark today. I started reading it and quite enjoyed it. My spelling was horrible. But there were some good quotes I'm gonna have to use again.
