This is going to be a mega-intense post. I'm seriously feeling very abandoned because no one is updating, so I'll check, and there won't be anything to read. Seriously. When school ends, guys, you all know I have nothing better to do. Well, school has (basically) ended, as evidenced by me handing in my math textbook (and then, of course, sprinting ( Read more... )

I love your quotes!!!!! it sounds like an excellent book. *sigh* *in the happy way* its so nice to be writing you. or replying or w/e I've missed our conversation things and.. well I just miss you in general. I profusely apologize for my negligent behaviour all this moving around has disconnected me in more than one way, but i'm finally back on the path of a more stable nature. huzzah! hmmmm there nothing much to say on my side other than I read half of the quran, reread LOTR, watched a million movies, bought everything is illuminated, sang at some ridiculous country concert and missed my friends beyond imaginability. boy oh boy what a boring summer. what all have you been up to? I love you!!! i love rain and I miss it sooo much, i truly miss being able to put on a long sleeved shirt, or gloves yay for writing you i love you! YIPEE!

oh, SARA, i've missed you and our awesome conversation things, too. i was soo excited to hear from you!! yay. my summer has been incredibly boring as well. i've read a lot of random books, seen some films, babysat small children, visited utah... ahhh... missed being able to wear long-sleeved shirts as well. now people are leaving for college and it's so strange. i can't wait to leave, myself. yay.

it'll be exciting to be off on our own, moving in whatever direction we choose and can afford lol. When do you leave? Agh I can't believe your going to the UK haha I must visit you! It is exciting to think we are finally leaving the house starting our own independent lives! whoohoo I hope we make things amazing. We're going to have to figure something out later in life so our paths can cross and hopefully for a longer time period. Its so weird thinking that we're off to college then a job and marriage and kids ACK! haha I don't feel any different so... are we really growing up or idk is this some crazy dream eh?

yuck growing up just seems so surreal. as does leaving. for good. i can picture it, and yet..i've been looking foward (and hoping that it would actually happen) to moving to britain for so many years now that it's strange that it's actually happening. same with college. i mean.... it's always seemed far off. but now it's less than a month.
actually, i KNOW i should be terrified, but i'm not.
i'm just really really really freaking excited, and i don't even know if i'll ever be scared. i think it will go from surreal to normal without an inbetween of anxiety.

It does seem like a dream to be leaving the country as well as the house a marvelous dream; you don't seem the type to be afraid of a situation which is an excellent quality, I commend you on your ability. I feel as the days draw nearer I am calmer and not so worried and idk sad that I'm leaving my family but excited to be off. I'm sure my first day though I'll have an underlying base of jumpy nerves. Even if I'm excited I'm sure I'll get butterflies in the stomach. I've gotten them every new school year since kindergarden, so... but at least I know. I am very very excited and I feel that as I'm coming to terms with leaving that I've become even MORE independent and confident in my opinions and personality. Which in turn has prepared me even more for the thing I was excepting haha so really it took care of its self and there was no need to have ever worried.

i used to get really nervous before school, especially when i HATED it (basically 6th-9th grade), but not so much anymore. i think i'll have moments of panic, especially when classes start, and i'm like, 'AHHHHH, I'M GOING TO FAIL,' but aside from that... actually, i bet i'll freak out when i have to meet with my advisor. things like that make me REALLY nervous. and probably the saturday i move in.. and have to eat dinner in my hall... and make friends...
hahahhaa,
i'm half apprehensive when i talk about things like that, but still half excited beyond belief.
i'm only sad about leaving my brother, and even then only sometimes, because we've become a lot closer lately....
but still excitement.
when do you leave??

well, you've almost been there a week, though. i mean, it takes everyone like a year until they find someone that they're really close to. or so i hear. except, i don't really believe it, so i'll probably be let down. oh well. how is it living with the other sara? how are your other roommates? how do your classes look? ...i hope you have a really really awesome time. i bet you'll end up meeting amazing people and love love loving it.
best of luck. :D
