from go_exchange:

*) Each Other Now Embrace, by sailorptah.
Good Omens | Aziraphale/Crowley, the Horsepersons | G | Art
I jumped at the chance to do Aziraphale/Crowley femslash. And then the rest of the page was looking empty, so I threw in genderswapped versions of the Horsepersons as well. (Yes, DEATH is flipped too. Can't you tell?)
-- > I just love this, very clever and lovely. I love the interpretations of the characters, genderswapped but still themselves.

*) Moving in Circles, by emerald_embers.
Good Omens | Aziraphale, Crowley | PG | ~ 3,400 words
Crowley's life in Sodom was going quite nicely until Aziraphale's cousins visited.
-- > This was truly excellent. The character voices were spot on.

from hd_holidays:

*) Symbiosis, by anon.
Harry Potter | Draco/Harry (Hermione/Ron) | NC-17 | ~ 20,300 words
sym·bi·o·sis (sĩm'bē-ō'sĩs) n. Biology A close, prolonged association between two or more different organisms of different species that may, but does not necessarily, benefit each member.
-- > Cliché!fic well done. This was funny, and made me smile. Liked the banter and the snark. I really love Ron and Hermione here though, they fit so well in, supporting to Harry but characters in their own rights.

from mini_fest:

*) Nargles!!!, by leochi.
Harry Potter | Luna/Neville | PG | Art
Prompt: #25 Apparently, Nargles are real, and we just stood under the Mistletoe.
-- > So cute and adorable without being cutesy or too sugary. I really love the facial expression and the vibrant colors.

from snarry_holidays:

*) Protective Custody, by fanficforensics.
Harry Potter | Harry/Severus | PG | Art
Harry certainly didn't enjoy spending the last part of his sixth year in detention after the Sectumsempra incident, copying out his father's past misdeeds. Imagine having to watch over him for hours on end, from only a few feet away, knowing what happened, what will never be, and what's coming... Any day now.
-- > Wonderful characterization, I really love the facial expressions. Also love the texture, and the details of the office.

from snupin santa:

*) A Picture of Success, by woldy.
Harry Potter | Remus/Severus | PG-13 | ~ 11,100 words
Dumbledore glanced at him, blue eyes piercing, but his voice deceptively mild, "Experience has taught me that when Voldemort tries very hard to acquire something, it is better to ensure that he does not succeed." - Prompt: 'Snape and Lupin assigned to work together to find some arcane artifact for the Order'.
-- > I really liked Remus here, and his interaction with Severus. Severus was wonderfully in character, definitely not white-washed. Dumbledore too was very well portrayed.
The case was interesting and well plotted. Loved the setting, and the magic (the spell invented was really interesting).

Crossover:

*) Zombies Ate Your Idols (They Were Delicious), by solar_catIn which Gerard Way takes a stand against discrimination, Adam Lambert discovers the importance of dice, Kris Allen is not kidnapped against his will, and the folks at 19E learn to love the stage!(?)gay. Welcome to the Zombies Ate Your Idols tour, 2010!
-- > This is totally cracked out and funny, and I was giggling and laughing all the way through.

due South:

*) Accessory, by keerawa.
due South | Gen; Fraser, Kowalski | G | 300 words
Ray and Fraser argue in the aftermath of a case.
-- > I always thought that Fraser doesn't deal very well with moral ambiguity. Awesome, thought-provoking snippet. ( Sequel snippet.)

*) Ends and Means, by keerawa.
due South | Fraser/Kowalski | PG | 300 words
The second time Fraser lied to protect Ray. - Sequel to Accessory.
-- > It's a scary scenario, and it really works so well here. Fraser between a rock and a hard place. Both stories packed such a wallop, it hit me like a punch against my solar plexus.

Stargate SG-1:

*) All in the Timing, by janedavitt.
Stargate SG-1 | Daniel/Jack | G | 100 words
How many times can he walk into Daniel's office, for no reason other than to get a smiled 'hello', before Daniel gives him a puzzled, vaguely expectant look instead?
-- > When I started reading Daniel/Jack I read a lot of long, plotty and smutty stories, most of which I've already forgotten. (Which actually says a lot about the quality of those stories.) Until I stumbled over this story. I'm not sure what made this story so special for me, but it made me really see Jack for the first time. For all its lack of length, it painted a vivid picture of Jack. It changed not only my view on him, but also my reading habits.

*) The Waters of Lethe, by destina.
Stargate SG-1 | Daniel/Jack | R | ~ 2,710 words
He is always drawn to this place. It is nothing like the other places he can go; nothing like the places he has been. Other places are filled with stars and darkness; they are vast, and they fill his emptiness with ice. This is a place of corners and angles, where the joints and curves meet and slope down, veins to a heart, and he flows through the maze. - AU, spoilers for 'Abyss' and 'Fallen'.
-- > This hurts so good. This story left me breathless and aching. It is so beautifully written. I really love how Jack's thoughts are depicted here, I can so see this.
