(*) Pages In Your Passport, by
inlovewithnight.

Bandom | Mikey Way/Pete Wentz | R | ~ 15,000 words
Pete pursued soccer instead of music. He has a good long run in the game. Then in 2010, he meets this guy in a band.

-- > I really enjoyed this story so much. I like how they connect slowly but surely, and how real they seem, even though the story went different.

(*) Renouement, by lovelypoet.

Bandom | Bob/Patrick, with Frank/Jamia and guest appearences | PG | ~ 5,400 words
There's always another chapter to the story.

-- > Future!fic is difficult to write, since a lot can happen the more time has supposedly passed. This story, even though it was written in the beginning of 2008, when the set-up was clearly different, does that. This is a great what-might-have-been.
Love the characters here, still clearly recognizable as themselves. I also love the presence the music has in this story.

(*) A Fine Layer of Dust, by romanticalgirl.

Generation Kill | Gen; Lilley, Reporter | PG-13 | ~ 1,200 words
There's a world out there beneath it all.

-- > This is just gorgeous. Love all the little details that we only get glimpses of, flashing the characters out, making them real and alive.

(*) 5 ways to go crazy without trying, by bratfarrar.

Stargate: Atlantis | Gen; team | PG-13 | ~ 590 words
see title.

-- > Creepy and realistic, perhaps even more because it's easily imaginable. I could easily see this happening were SGA a darker show.
