ACNW post con
Wow.
Back from ACNW, slept in my own bed. Cuddled with wife. Played with kids. Still have that post-con "depression" where I have to acknowledge reality again. sigh.
The con was great. I think all of my games went really well (a special thanx to those who worked really hard to make the Glam game work!).
Those I played in were fun and hit the right buttons. Grindhouse 2, which I ran with cochese , was probably my favorite. My half worked great, even though bluemonsta missed it, and the players really got into the whole society/zombies what's the difference "theme"? Funny stuff. Still, I think cochese 's Amazon Chain Gang vs. The Snakeagtor was the winner- the hilarity was over the top and below the belt. And really, it was all about female empowerment and togetherness. Too many good lines to quote. I hope to run Grindhouse with him again.
I got to relax Friday AM, hang with pjack , and play some neat board/card games, Random's Poker game was fun, as usual, despite losing a few regulars to other cool games; nakedvillainy 's Chronoguard ended this year with a left field plot twist that i think, stunned us all. And then there's XXXtreme Street Luge, ran by ogremarco , wow. That's all I can say. No, really, I would be hard pressed to pick out a sentence from that game that was not XXXtremely offensive and/or profane. So, natch, it rocked, Racer Snikt style!
Of course, the best part of the con was seeing old friends, hanging out, and the wild conversations. The afterparty /discussion that went til 3am was great. Anne frickin' Frank?!
anyway, reality beckons.
