Build: Lean and lanky. He never really manages to bulk up, but he's cut.
Defining Marks: Lot of tattoos, maybe around ten -- to be found on both his forearms, his upper arms, his chest, his back and his hip. Only one is a gang tat, that's on the inside of his wrist; the rest are a mixture of homemade and professional.
Dress Style: really casual, though he doesn't own many clothes right now. Dickies or jeans with hoodies. T-shirts, Layers. Scuffed black or brown boots.
Possessions always on this person: wears a thin chain around his neck. He had an ear pierced, but he thinks it's closed up. He might get it redone at some point.
Manner of Speech: Talks a bit like Harley, though he's more soft-spoken, less glib.
Manner of Movement: Cautious, a little jumpy when he's not thinking about it.

Family History: Thad was six when his parents died in a fire in their Falls Church rowhouse. They loved him and Harley and he remembers being happy with them, but he didn't understand that they were cooking drugs in the basement and that's likely what started the fire, and why they hadn't been able to get out. He and Harley had no extended family that could be found, so they were put into the system, and stayed together until they were split between homes when Thad was twelve. He ran away from his foster homes repeatedly after that, trying to find Harley, and eventually was placed in a group home. At fourteen, he ran away from there for good, with a friend he made in there. They hooked up with a gang in Southeast DC that mainly ran cars and drugs, though Thad didn't really deal with the drugs end of things. He reconnects with Harley and they remain in the gang for six more years until Thad gets caught and goes to jail. He's been there for nearly five years.

Health & Psychology
Physical Health: Pretty good. They make sure you eat okay in prison, and there's plenty of time to work out.
Extrovert/Introvert: Somewhere in the middle; he's friendly and really doesn't like being alone, but I wouldn't call him in extrovert either. Definitely a bit of a people-pleaser, though.
Phobias/Fears: Fires, not being able to hack it on the outside, losing Harley or messing up her life in some way.
Mental Health: As stable as a guy just getting out of prison can be. He grew up with some attachment issues from moving so much but he's old enough now that it may have tempered somewhat.
Any Disabilities/Handicaps: None
Personality
Goals/Dreams: He can't really think of anything. He's going to try and see if anyone would hire him, and then go from there.
Quirks/Habits: Smoking (few cigarettes a day), hunching over his food at the table, a few nervous habits like wiping at his mouth or nose with the back of his hand and glancing over his shoulder.
Likes: Rain, being outside, cars, music, books, tattoos, cards, basketball
Dislikes: enclosed spaces, board games, baked beans
Hobbies: He picked up quite a few in prison to varying degrees of usefulness once he's out: knitting, working out, tinkering with wood and electronics. He reads a lot more than he used to. He also knows how to do homemade tattoos -- he learned that one in the gang but did it for people when he was in prison as well. He's not bad at it.
First Impression: The tats might put some people off? He'd strike people as a friendly but with a rough exterior. Also worth nothing I suppose-- he favors Harley a lot.

He's going to be looking for work and at some point a place to stay, and as a convicted felon I expect he's going to have quite a bit of trouble getting work so I'm game for some unsuccessful attempts.
He has/had a best friend, Cole, who's a couple years older than him who he's known since running away from his group home at fifteen. That's probably the only playable connection he'd have beyond Harley if anyone wanted to app him.
