So, another year++ on my clock. Feels like my trip counter is still jammed on about 20, though - I can confirm that the feeling of being 27 is much the same as being any other age in the twenties. :)
Got some cracking gifts, including a day out at Silverstone driving a Lotus Exige! Booked up for late Feb, really looking forward to it now. I'll get 9 laps on my own around the south of the track, as well as one lap as passenger with a pro driver. Also got some wicked Bluetooth Stereo headphones (plus audio connections to use with anything that has an out jack), a Vegetable steamer(yummy!), a Geforce 7600GS, some cracking books (Clarkson's newest hardback/Palin's Python diaries/Do Penguin's Feet Freeze/Mishima's Sword), some DVDs (A Very Long Engagement/Snakes on a Plane) and the first volume of Death Note.

Now, there were plans floated about having a bundle of people over to Nottingham for a night out next weekend as a kind of 'belated celebration' of my birthday. I'd dearly love to, but am feeling a bit skint and stressed at the minute, so would like to ask those of you who had been interested in coming over - to come over for a night out post-Minamicon. Apologies for leaving it a to the last minute. I'll be cross-posting this to Heather's LJ too, to make sure people know we aren't doing anything this weekend anymore. Boo!
