Let's get this party started!
I guess I'm going to go first! I list the same things every year. lol
1. I would love to see this community pimped all over. Let everyone have a chance to share the love! I think it would be great to see the link to the community on your twitters, facebooks and tumblrs.
2. It would make me really happy if people would donate to THF. It's an expensive site to run, so it would be great to see people support it with a donation. You can donate here. We are paid up until April 2013, but of course, any donations received would be put toward the next bill.
3. If you read a story on THF or one of the fic communities on LJ or someone's journal, and you enjoy it, my wish is that you'd let the author know in a review. Also, it would be wonderful if people would leave a kind word for, and always credit, the graphic artists of the fandom.
4. I'd love to receive Christmas cards or holiday cards. If you're from outside the U.S. or your native language isn't English, I think it would be great to have your greeting in both your native tongue and in English. Just to sort of make it more "you". I can pm my address to you, if you need it. :D
5. I've asked for candy the last couple years, and while I loved that and certainly wouldn't be upset if I received some (aherm), I would also like to encourage friends to donate to your local animal shelter/human society. Your donation could be time spent walking dogs, cleaning kennels or catboxes, or just loving on the animals.
6. This time of year tends to be really tough financially, especially for those living below the poverty line. My wish is for friends to donate to the local food pantry. Help a needy family out with the gift of food to make their holidays brighter.
7. Or you could pick a child's wish off your local Angel Tree and fulfill a young child's wish this year. That would be awesome. My children sometimes got gifts from the Angel Tree and it really helped to make their holidays happier when they were little.
8. Mostly, I wish this year that Bill and Tom, Georg, Gustav, their crew and families, and everyone in fandom have the most wonderful holiday, full of love and joy. ♥
