(no subject)
Hey guys
just wanted to throw something out to y'all.
I've decided that I want to get my first tattoo. Mom and I have been talking extensively about when she wants to get hers, where she wants it, &c. and I've been thinking about it too.
I decided that I want a script tattoo that says "It will be" in cursive letters with the tail of the 'e' becoming a blue bird. I really want to get in somewhere on my body that I'll be able to see when I'm working, i.e. writing, drawing, whatever. So my first thought was my arm, left or right, inside or out.
The only problem is, if I can see it, so will everyone else, and I have enough trouble finding a job without the tattoos. Also, on a lesser, but still important note, I don't want to have to cake on makeup every time I cosplay. I know a lot of you will be like, "wtf cosplay. who cares?" but that's still a big part of my life. maybe not forever, but still. even if it isn't cosplay in my future, maybe acting is. *shrug* who knows? I just don't want this to limit me, but I feel it might.
So should I wait to get it, get somewhere not visible to everyone, or just get it?
and if I should just get it, which arm/side of arm?
or is there somewhere else I'll be able to see it that isn't on my arm that I've completely over looked?
lol sorry to drop this all on you guys all at once. I have plenty of time to think about it anyway. But any tips or advice is really appreiciated.
ALSO I JUST WANTED TO THROW THIS OUT THERE BECAUSE I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS TO ME
chance I'm totally not stealing your "be here now" idea. if you like, think the arm is too similar, I'll find somewhere else. frsrs.
