Summary: Hankyung just got to know Heechul, but why was that boy willing to do so much for him?
A/N: lynlovesmin wants to write this series, too, so I'm supposed to ninja some Onkey into this. But uhm, any ideas?
drabble 01 / drabble 02
Hankyung was walking to his next class when a gang in his school (Hankyung heard of them before; they were quite infamous) approached him from behind. Within seconds, Hankyung was cornered, pushed to the wall by his collar.
“Let me tell you, Chinese boy. We don’t like you, so stay away from the school. And stay away from -“
“Get off him,” someone interrupted. Heechul, Hankyung thought.
“Oh, hey weirdo, what’s up?” The boys from the gang seemed a little intimidated, because everyone knew that those who offended Heechul would never get to the next sunrise. Nevertheless, they didn’t let go.
“I said, get off him.” Heechul repeated, a little firmer this time.
“Why, Heechul? Why are you so bothered by this? He’s just a stupid outsider anyway.” The gang leader reached out to caress Heechul’s face, but Heechul slapped his hand away.
“Because he’s my friend.” And Heechul delivered a powerful blow onto the gang leader’s face. It wasn’t fatal, but Hankyung was sure he broke a few bones. Then, as quickly as it began, Heechul grabbed Hankyung’s hand and dragged him away.
They ran and didn’t stop running until they were round the corner, in an empty corridor and Hankyung was sure that they were safe. He stopped. “Why did you help me?”
Heechul realized that he wasn’t holding Hankyung’s hand anymore and turned around. “Oh my god,” Heechul rolled his eyes, “Are you freaking serious? Come on, let’s go before they kill you.”
“No, I want to know why.”
Heechul smirked, “Like I said before, you’re my friend.”
“But you’ll get into detention for beating someone up!” Hankyung protested.
“Whatever, I’m used to going there, anyway. Plus, I’ve always wanted to teach that guy a lesson, but I never had a good reason to.” Heechul walked off, turning back to wave goodbye.
Hankyung could not help but notice the way Heechul’s hips seemed to sway from side to as he walked.
