So we celebrated mother's day today, one week early. Mainly because we still believe that celebrating festivities on the day itself only serves to encourage the practice of jacking up prices on menu and gifts. Seriously, beautiful occasions have been ruined by the selfish, greedy people who think of these days as nothing but opportunities to fatten their wallet.
The food at this international buffet seafood restaurant is amazing. Totally would keep going again and again if it wouldn't make me balloon up to 100kg in a few days. Didn't take photos because.. well. :/ You know.
Which reminded me of a conversation between the waitress and my mum which I found pretty amusing.
"Erm. Are you sure you still want to order these dishes? You already have 12 dishes in the list.."
"Yeah."
"I'm afraid there won't be enough space to put the food.."
"it's alright, no worries."
"Or the food might turn cold and.."
"Just take the order. We'll still eat it if it turns cold."
I have to admit, they serve food pretty fast.. But we were faster.
Come on, there is no way you could fill up our table with food. :/
Not when it takes more time for you to walk to the kitchen and be back with the next dish than for us to polish one dish off the table..
Any how.
I'm going to climb a smallish mountain in Malaysia tomorrow with my parents and youngest bro.
Sooo... I have to carry his 1.5l water in my backpack.
Go me. :D
