"Hika-chan!" Turning back, he saw Koyama waving towards him, cutting the conversation he and Yabu was having. "Koyamama! Wait for a moment alright?"
With that, Hikaru had quickly excused himself and joined Koyama. Both of them were laughing and smiling away. Even from this distance that Yabu was away from the pair, he felt their happiness. His hand went up to where his heart was, and clenched his shirt.
'Why does it hurt so much?'
"And, Shige actually confessed!" Koyama started to ramble on to Hikaru, and the younger boy just laughed. It wasn't surprising that they were close, since they did shows together before. Even though Koyama did say that Hikaru was a pain on television.
Slowly tuning out of Koyama's words, Hikaru looked out of the window, and wondered if what he saw just now was just his disillusion. When he turned back to look at Yabu while he was leaving with Koyama, Hikaru swore that there was a bitter expression on Yabu's face.
Why? Was it real?
The next day, Hikaru had a really bad day, since his morning was totally ruined by the scene in their dressing room. There Yabu was, with Chinen seated on his lap, and their faces so close to each other. Hikaru had only shouted "OHA-!" and banged the dressing room's door shut.
The other JUMP members could only look at Hikaru's actions in shock, wondering what had happened to make Hikaru so pissed off in the morning. "Yabu-kun, why don't you check it out?" It was Yuto that suggested it, and Ryosuke nodded from Yuto's side.
Sliding down Yabu's lap, Chinen smiled and nodded too. With that, Yabu went after Hikaru, only to end up in front of NEWS's dressing room.
"Koyamama, why do I feel like this?" Sobbing could be heard from inside the dressing room, and the voice was undeniably Hikaru's. 'Koyama-senpai again?' Eyes were forced shut and Yabu placed his forehead against the cold wall beside the door of the dressing room.
"Why do I feel like this when someone's close to Yabu?" Eyes were now wide opened, and his senses were all perked up at his name.
"Explain now, Yaotome." Koyama shook his head as he saw Hikaru curling up on the sofa like a cat, and the younger boy's tear-stained face was hidden under the cushion.
Sniffing just a little, Hikaru continued. "Just now, Chinen sat on Yabu's lap. When I saw that, I just couldn't help but feel rage bubbling inside me." Koyama just nodded, slowly stroking the JUMP member's head, trying to calm the boy down.
"And there was that time where Yabu told Chinen that he likes him the best in JUMP. I broke the tray I was using at the time. Plus that tray was plastic."
Little did Hikaru know, the door of the dressing room was slowly inching open, and Koyama smiled at the 'intruder'.
"Also, Yabu chose Chinen over me to partner up with! It has always been me and Yabu since forever! Do you know how much it hurts?" The stroking of his hair continued, and Hikaru continued to ramble on.
After talking to his heart's content, Hikaru sat up and turned while saying, "Thanks Koya-! EHH?!" Right in front was him was not Koyama Keiichiro of NEWS. Right in front of Yaotome Hikaru now was Yabu Kota of JUMP.
In a swift motion, Yabu had pinned the younger boy down onto the sofa, and a grin hung on his lips. "So, you've been jealous all these time?" Hikaru felt his face heating up, and with Yabu's face hovering so closely above his, Hikaru swore that he had almost faint of blood rushing up his brain.
Nodding slowly, the next thing was Yabu closing the distance between their lips. For a moment, Hikaru stiffened, but slowly melted into the soft lips of Yabu. "Hika, you do know that you don't have to be jealous right?"
"Obviously I don't since I've been jealous all these while."
Placing their foreheads together, Yabu looked deep into Hikaru's eyes as he whispered, "I love you, Yaotome Hikaru. There's no need for you to be jealous since I'm already in love with you."
"And so you say, weren't you jealous of your Hikaru hanging out with me all the time?" Yabu had immediately leaped away from Hikaru when he heard the voice.
At the door stood Koyama and Shige, smirking at the newly formed pair. "Yabu-kun, there's no need to be jealous, since Koyama is mine now." Shige smirked at his junior's frightened expression, and he pulled his boyfriend into a kiss.
Hikaru burst out laughing, and he hugged Yabu from behind. "Don't mind them. They are always like this." Nodding, Yabu just captured Hikaru's lips all over again.
"You know, you always make me smile from the bottom of my heart."
"Of course I know, Hikaru. Because you make be do the same too."
