52. Dictionary
Everyone knew Yuto has this habit to define someone in his mind. Either by that person’s actions or what they mean to him. It was known as Yuto’s Dictionary of people. In it, it probably contains everyone in the Jimusho. So one day, Hikaru asked, “Yuto, how do you define me in your head?” Yuto just stared at him, obviously surprised by his sudden question. The rest of JUMP heard what Hikaru asked, and decided to circle around Yuto, with their most ‘innocent’ smiles. Knowing that there was no way to escape; Yuto sighed in defeat, and started to think.
“Hikaru,” Hikaru perked up at his name, “Is like the joker of JUMP, making everyone smile when we’re all dead tired after practice. He knows when to say what.” At this point, Hikaru was smiling at Yuto with watery eyes, and he pounced onto Yuto, only to be caught by the collar by Yabu.
Yuto then looked at Yabu and said, “Yabu-kun is the mama of JUMP! He’s the leader, always taking care of us. Yabu-kun is the most mature, ne~?” Yabu smiled and thanked Yuto for the compliments.
Now, the rest of BEST was sitting in front of Yuto, giving him their puppy eyes and pointing to themselves. “Takaki-kun looks really cool, and mature. But whenever he’s with 7, he’s just an overgrown kid! Dai-chan is a great senpai, he takes care of us in school before he graduated! Inoo-chan is really good at the piano, ne?” Takaki felt a little sad, but smiled when Chinen gave him a little peck on the lips. Daiki and Inoo just hugged each other while grinning widely.
Next, Chinen and Ryutaro were pulling Yuto’s hands, while Keito smiled a bit, a hint of curiosity in his eyes, and Ryosuke? He just stared at other things, acting like he doesn’t care. “Chinen will forever be cute and cuddly! He’s like a squirrel, and his acrobats are amazing! Ryutaro is mature for his age, but when fighting with Yama-chan, his childishness will come out! And Keito is my best friend who loves music like me. And Yama-chan …” Everyone looked at Yuto and then at Ryosuke. Yuto grinned, and seeing that, Ryosuke started to blush. Walking towards Ryosuke, he turned Ryosuke around to face him. “Ryosuke is my one and olnly love and I’ll protect him forever.” And he closed their distance before Ryosuke could say anything. The whole of JUMP (okay, only 8 of them) took our their phone and started to snap away.
Later that night, Ryosuke was on the phone with Yuto.
“Ne, Yuto. Do you know something?”
“What is it, Ryo-chan?”
“In my dictionary, Yuto means my one and only love. Although you have a childish personality, you’re really cute when you smile, and really cool and mysterious without it. Most of all, you care for me the most.”
“Thank you, Ryosuke. That’s all because I love you.”
“I love you too, Yuto.
