Happy Spring Break!
Doesn't it feel just like summer? Okay, well, without all the homework, I swear it could be mid June. The relaxed atmosphere, the brilliant weather (not to be the harbinger of doom, but it screams GLOBAL WARMING), and the way I'm looking forward to SO MANY things. Now that doesn't happen a lot during the school year. Nooo sir.
Let's see...
1. My JOB. Guess what, I'm gonna be an employee! At a Japanese culture daycamp in the last two weeks of June! Which means I nailed my interview! And there was a lot of people applying too! And I get the little kids' class! I can't wait!
2. Multicultural week. That's always fun, isn't it? Think of all the food!!
3. STAR testing. It's an academic ego boost, makes you feel smart. SO much school time is wasted, haha! Plus, you can catch up on your reading after you finish.
4. My mom just booked a trip to Europe for the beginning of August. Yee hawwwwww.
5. The Rune is going to come out soon. Which means, oh God, the posters are as well. It's going to be real weird seeing my face six feet tall. But then, maybe they won't even put them up? That might save me a heart attack. Oh yeah, and I think one of Josh's stories will be featured in this year's issue!
5. Getting contacts. Actually, I'm kind of scared, but I'll finally be able to see detail.
6. SAT scores. I really really really want to know what I got. Really.
7. I have Saturday pretty much completely free and I can do whatever the heck I want with that day. Muahahah.
8. Getting driver's ed out of the way!!
My spring break has been pretty good. How is yours going? So far I:
1. Took a tour of San Francisco State and absolutely loved it!
2. Hung out at Johnathon's house before everybody left town to go college-scouting.
3. Finally got around to utilizing my mp3 that I got for Christmas.
4. Did some homework. Yep.
5. Watched Harry Potter 4 and then had a Harry Potter-esque dream. Yeah... that was pretty awesome.
6. Went Easter egg hunting! No joke!
7. Soaked up the springtime sun as an attempt to no longer look like all the blood has been siphoned out of me.
