I got accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. OHH YEAH NUKKAS! Im never dorming again cause THAT was a nightmare, so Im commuting. Its only a hour train ride.
And this is my career, Textile/Surface Design Major: I design apparel fabrics, such as prints, wovens and knits; home fashion design, such as upholstery fabric, wall coverings, drapery, and carpets; and product design, such as china, glassware, flatware, paper products, greeting cards and gift wrap. Professional studios for painting, printing, weaving, and knitting and state-of-the-art computer labs allow students to work in color and form with paints, dyes, fibers, yarns, silk screens, mixed media, and computer-aided design programs (this is from the website). There's a 90% success rate that I will have a well-paying job at the end of graduation and internships.
All I have to say is:
UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD AND YOUR SHITTY PRIVATE SCHOOL AND YOUR SHITTY DORMS AND YOUR SHITTY FOOD AND YOUR SHITTY STAFF AND YOUR DRUGGIES AND YOUR YOUR SHITTY $30,000 A YEAR TUITION I CANT AFFORD AND YOUR SHITTY STUCK UP RICH YUPPIES (except for my friends, you know who you are, luv ya!)
HAha, I feel so great lately. I am 100x more focused and prepared now.
