GRABE!
Haven't slept a wink. Actually, I did sleep like 3 hours kanina, when we landed here in Cebu from a horrific 2:30 am call time at the Domestic Airport (thank God the flight was PAL!) to make the first flight out. We're doing YSpeak live kasi tomorrow at Ayala Centre and needed to be here a day early to prepare the footage we needed to shoot to fill in tomorrow's episode.
So straight from chika with the Escabeche Siblings with slight Mona on the side (she didn't join us na for happy fiesta dindin at The Good Earth Tea Room) I got home around 12:30 am, did some slight last minute packing (which was totally useless kasi I forgot my extra digicam and cellphone batteries for pete's sake), and proceeded to drive towards ABSCBN where we were to meet up. And yes, by 4 am, we were all in the airport, and Bianca Gonzalez was freshly un-madeup and still a bit perky having just finished the last episode of PBB Uplate, while JC Cuadrado (who came straight from hosting the Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2006 Coronation Night and had only an hour to rest) was munching on a Smokey's hotdog sandwich -- something we all should have done considering how crappy the Goldilock's Chocolate Slice was that PAL served us on that turbulent-filled, über-kakahilo hour flight to Cebu.
We arrived at 6 and had a little over 3 hours to rest since we were touted to guest at the Saturday morning show of ABSCBN in which we did nothing (and i mean NOTHING) but play charades. Hay. Ok lang sana, pero since we were all sleep deprived, sana natulog na lang kami. But it's ok. Part of the starlet deal yan. So we all lived with it. A press con followed that, and lunch followed not long after, and, to make a long and exhausting day short, we finished 2 interviews, went around Cebu and shot MOS material, and ended up at Gerry's Grill where we had "sakit-sa-batok" meals whilst finding time to sign autographs, pose for pictures and listen to the fans (THE FANS?!!? HAHAHAHAHAH) speak in Bisaya and us trying desperately to figure out what they were saying.
Despite all this, I found time to shop (ako pa?) and discovered this little shop in Ayala Centre called Simon+ that reminded me so much of Tyler back in Manila (although the stitching and the collars could have been less Tom Ford circa 1999). Siyempre, I found myself buying a really nice little knit shirt in Salmon, which had a wonderful buckle detail. Tarush. And since I was with Bianca G, di na rin naman lumayo ang throngs of fans trying to catch a peek at us little starlets (ok, sige, ako na lang ang starlet kasi si Bia hindi na starlet hahahah). I call it the Erna Effect: flies swarm at the mere scent of star erna in the vicinity. I wonder pa kung andun na rin si Ryan Agoncillo, or even dread the thought of Juday in the center of the weekend Ayala Centre Cebu crowd.
Currently just relaxing at the hotel lobby cafe having a Coke Light (can you believe I just drank my daily vitamin regiment now pa lang?!?!) and catching up on emails and online purchases (finally! my eBay payment for my new Shu Uemura makeup kit came through na!) and will soon indulge in a long deserved massage inside my room (uh huh: 24 hour massage service is absolutely fabulous!).
Did I happen to mention that I was assigned to room in with an ex beau?
