PHOTOESSAY OF MY EID!!
-Friday, 12th October 2007-
Sr Nawal had texted me that the new crescent had been sighted in the Eastern states, that are ahead of Us WA people.
After the brief buka and solat Maghrib, her husband had confirmed that Raya/Eid was the next day ie the moon sighting people fasted for 29 days.
Now, after solat, we are waiting for our main meal to be delivered,the last dishes of rice for Ramadhan. :(
Of course Ahmed (&Abdullah) delivered them...
After eating & cleaning up...

Ahmed joins us for a happy happy photo time, til his dad almost left him (almost but didn't)
-Malam Raya-
Masak, gempal bagedil til 2.30 am
-Pagi Raya-
We were supposed to take the 7.28 bus, but being late as usual, we waited for the 7.58 bus

-King's Park-
Oh the joy of King's Park, immersing myself in the colours and sounds of Allah's bounty! :)
The weather was great, the feeling was lovely although we didn't have enough mats.
It was funny, because the sound of the birds and the babies crying were pretty loud.
I tried to listen to the Khutbah, but everyone else was so loud.
So I ran around with Hessa to look for HIMI & SIRAJ!!!!
My Habibis!! :)
In the mean time, I missed the main photo-taking session.
BUt I met heaps of lovely people!

I took pictures with Himi ( I actually dreamt of him the night before)
But Siraj is so cute, so adorable, he's the new favourite!!

gg home... to EAT!! That process of prepating and eating was kecoh itself, til we all slept after eating!!
