My new old laptop
I just found my brother's old laptop, so I decided to celebrate by...doing stuff I would normally do on my desktop :)).
So I'm posting on Livejournal and Myspace, updating, organizing, cleaning, fixing, and testing out the capabilities of my revived notebook.
It's a 2006 Compaq Pentium 4 Presario 2500 notebook with a floppy disk drive, CD-ROM drive, several ports for USB (no firewire though :( ), and pretty much any standard piece of equipment. It also has wireless internet so I can jack-in anyplace where there is hi-jackable bandwidth. :D
I suppose I should also talk about regular stuff:
I'm sorry I havn't been posting lately. A lot of stuff has been happening in school, at home, and with my friends. This is the first year I've struggled in school, so I'm a little worried about that. However, I've been keeping tight with friends and making EXTRA-special good friends with a certain lady I call Lenny. I met her at Harlan's; she is one of Q's friends so she is two years behind me in school, but only a year younger (I'm a year ahead in school by the way, skipped kindergarten). We didn't even talk that much when we first met eachother, we just got good vibes and were mutually attracted. If it wasn't for Q being a busybody we never would have hooked up :P. She texted Harlan to ask me about Lenny, so they did the original correspondence for us. Then Lenny looked me up on Myspace and we started talking. She's grounded until the end of school so we've only been talking to eachother over IM, but we've hit it off really well. We look forward to seeing eachother once summer break starts. In the meantime I'll see her at Q's Birthday party on Saturday.
