Sorry for post-spamming. Told my sister I was gay last Wednesday (in response to the question, "So, are you actually gay?"). She was alright about it really; she's generally quite homophobic but I think she'll get over it. She loves me too much. :P

So, no need to lie to her anymore. :D

Good for you! It's often having a close friend or family member of a certain type that can help break down prejudices. :)

and apart from anything else .. with the people I know who have come out .. well it wasn't a great surprise ... well I stopped for a moment when my old flat mate wrote casually mentioning her partner Stephanie but only because I knew she was sleeping with guys when we shared a flat - but they had been more of a surprise really because when I first met her I wondered if she were a lesbian and then felt guilty for the assumption !!!
