Just heard the news from Stephen Whittle:
Claire McNab from Press for Change has been awarded an honourary MBE by the British Government. It is an honourary MBE because Claire is an Irish Citizen.
This MBE has been awarded for her services to the transsexual community - this is the first time the government has finally had the courage to use the word 'transsexual', which is recognition of the astonishing committment she has made to the community.
