Job Halp

Hey everyone

I'm just wondering what everyone's experiences of trying to find a job and being trans are? I'm 21 in two weeks and I've just finished uni and i'm looking for a summer job / 'gap year' jobs which is proving stressful before its even started.

I've never really been good at finding jobs and presenting male and working last summer was pretty crushing (edit - incase you didn't guess i'm mtf). I'm full time now and i'm hopefully starting HRT pretty soon, but basically i don't know what to do! I dont think i can manage taking steps backwards and I don't 'pass' that well due to facial hair (its half gone though at the minute).
Obviously being out at work isnt an issue - its just finding somewhere that will employ me!
(for the record, i'm kinda looking at office/bar jobs for the short term and something in science or media (primarily music) for the slightly longer term. Basically I need to survive and i dont want to work in a kitchen! Also, i'm living in London so as far as propects go, i shouldn't really be complaining to much cause its not like there is a lack of jobs!)

So i just really want to hear about your experiences and if you've got any advice, please please share it!
