Hi, haven't posted here for a while...I posted off my acceptance of an appointment (an appointment yet to be made) to Charing-X about 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing back since.
I posted it about 4 days late but I called them and they said it wouldn't matter but now I think it might have :/
Does anyone know the number I could call to find out? Last time I had to be put through a switchboard quite a few times...

I'd also like to know what I should bring with me to the appointment and what to wear. I REALLY do not want to wear a tie. A tie just isn't 'me' and I'd feel like I was in drag or overcompenstating or something, I dunno. Of course I'd dress masculine but I don't think a tie is the ultimate symbol of manhood.

Oh, and another thing...about smoking...I know you're not meant to do it on hormones or before hormones but I really don't want to quit.
Why is it they're against smoking (other than the general unhealthiness? Is it because of clotting or high blood pressure or something? Because I have low blood pressure and thin blood due to being an anaemic vegan :p
Could someone explain to me why smoking is worse for transmen than for regular men?

Thanks in advance.
