Today I picked up a sixth day on NEMO. It only lasted three hours. There was not much to do, but I did get to work on two subs: voyager and agronaut. We had to realign some sensors and my job was to replace some bolts. It was interesting...I learned how to use a wratchet, and Mike taught me about washers and locked washers. It was also very funny because I did not know anything about these things at first, but I learned. My dad would be so proud! These bolts were in spots that were awkward to get to. I had to straddle the sail to reach these bolts. Everyone, especially those coming into the park on the monorail, must have got some show.
After we finished working on Voyager and Agronaut, Josh, Mike, Neil, and I ERed and ate at Denny's.
It was a good day...
Josh asked if I would be comfortable being a T&A lead. I told him as long as I am not in charge of fixing up a sub or using tools, I will be fine.
