So I can't use the wheel for GT4 up in Jax for a lot of reasons, mostly related to logistics. So I have it down here, and only play GT4 when I'm down here. I brought down all the hookups and accessories for this week, but didn't bring my PS2 because I remembered that Ryan had an extra one hanging around down here. I also forgot that it was farked up and wouldn't read most discs. So it got teh death by smashing on the patio. So far this is all ending in tears, but then Dru let me borrow his...so yayyyyy.
As I entered my neighborhood, this raggedy-lookin '80-something cadillac was acting very suspiciously. 4-way flashers on, slowing and speeding up and such, pausing in front of a certain house, as though looking in vain for an address or *gasp* casing the neighborhood for a robbery?? I passed him up, couldn't see through the limo-tinted windows, and pulled into my driveway. I got out and with cell phone in hand, considering whether to call the police, watched him creep up the street. Then something emerged from the darkness of the interior, arced through the uneven darkness, and landed on the driveway. At which point I breathed a sigh of relief, laughed at myself, and went inside with my ill-begotten PS2.
Oh and I learned how to make those funky characters, like the ü in Nürburgring. I'm so pleased. (If you're the computer-savvy type and could type these characters without thinking by the age of 12....well fugoff and die.)
and in other news, I think I like trance music. Or whatever it's called when it's like mood music but with a nice beat to it, not all slow and mellow. Who'd have thunk it?
Oh and I converted a Clarkson fan into a Tiff fan. Score one for the good guys.
