Clone High, and other news...
OK Clone High is now old school. Justin sent me some episodes and I have been quite entertained. The Principal seems to have never-ending supply of great lines.
For the next 3 weeks, I get to learn how to kick ass and such, which has another beneficial side effect in that I don't have to even look at the ship. So instead of getting to the ship at 6:30 and leaving at...6:30, I now get up at 6:30 and get back in bed for a nap at...2:30. Much better, and no stress.
Which reminds me...I have been really hating the Navy lately, so I think this break is just what the doctor ordered. In the meantime, I'm leaning toward finishing the 2 years and settling down in sofla.
I like guns. An FIT friend invited me to go deer/hog hunting, so now I'm immersing myself in that to become an instant expert (you know how I am). Oh and thursday I get to spend all day blasting away with a 9mm, then friday is endlessly shooting a badass shortened version of the M16, called the M18. Guns are so cool.
And I'll be down this weekend, there I said it. No bitching that I didn't tell you. And my folks will be off in Lexington visiting Ryan, so feel free to show up unannounced at all hours.
