Macross Frontier (yes, again and probably not the last time)
I just finished it, and maybe I shouldn't post while that stupid enraptured grin is still plastered on my face, but I wanted to say that I think this is the best anime that I watched this year. Even though it does have its weak points, those are easily forgiven because of that outstanding soundtrack. Yes, I mean it! All in all, it's a real blast. And hell, it's the overall feeling that counts. Plus, who can resist a Shizuru-look-alike with a male Natsuki to angst over, ahaha.
