reality TV

ok, the history FSP is officially one of those awful reality TV programs like Big Brother or the Real World.... we're all just rubbed raw with each other's society. I've seen most of the girls cry in the last 48 hours, I think everyone has at least 1/3 of the group on their personal shit list, and it probably won't be long before physical violence breaks out. 10 more days.... who will survive??!?!

On the more civilized side, we went to see a great play the other day. It was called History Boys, all about the 'public' (that's private in american) school system here, and all-boys schools in particular. The star, a teacher in the line of the professor in Dead Poets' Society with some perversions on top, was actually the guy who plays Uncle Vernon in Harry Potter... yes, I'm a big dork, but it was exciting.

London remains London. I went to sing Christmas Carols in St. Martin-in-the-Field's church in Trafalgar Square tonight. It was lovely although Nick and I didn't recognize a lot of the songs and the tune for O Little Town of Bethlehem was changed, an odd experience. I don't think I'll really believe it's Christmastime though until I'm home. Mountains, Missoula, homebrew, Goodwill, sisters, bunnies, sewing machine, baking, yoga... can't wait.
