I'm sitting here staring at my novel, but I know I'm not going to get anything written until I express my deepest pleasure in the fact that I'M GOING TO GET KITTIES!!! :D I convinced J that getting a cat would help my anxiety disorder, and getting 2 would keep them from being bored while we're at work. A co-worker of mine has a litter of kittens that are almost ready to go, they'll be ready by the beginning of December. Now if I finish NaNo this year, I'll feel like I earned the kitties. =^_^=
This makes me incredibly happy because my fondest pet memories are of my cats. I haven't had a cat in four years, and while dogs are nice, it takes me longer to get used to them and I never get quite as close to them as I do to my kitties. The co-worker's kittens are about 1/3 Persian, so they'll be plenty fluffy even after they grow up. And they're not the snub-nosed type of Persian, either, but the short-muzzle type. Aaaaaaah, can't wait! *HappyDances*
