I'm sure some people here know that my laptop is louder than many if not most, especially when it starts to "scream". I think I may have put the nail into that coffin.
I got a screwdriver and opened the parts that I figured were where the fans were housed. Guess what? DUST COVERING THE ENTIRETY OF THE FANS OUTPUT AREA. Scraped it out, and so far, it has been wonderful. I was so worried I would break something but everything works great. I think it even performs better.
