Nigeria scams come from Nigerians?!?
http://theregister.co.uk/content/6/33520.html at least implies that the main perpetrators of the Nigerian scam are apparently people who are at least of African descent, and quite possibly traceable to Nigeria, which rather blows my faith in the complete dishonesty of those messages. I mean, I expected those things to be basically false in all things (except, of course, for their desire for your bank account information.)
I'm shocked and dismayed. Here I was imagining this scam to be mostly pulled off by a bunch of white boys, potentially with some dark skinned patsies to do the face to face bits.
