It's funny how songs that you listened to often can also shape memories. I remember alot of songs remind me of train journeys commuting from school and back, travelling in airports and planes. But then they change when the impact is bigger, impression deeper. Listened to a song when you found out something terrible happened, listened to a song when you met someone you hadn't seen in ages. It's like memory pods, external from your brain. Play it and it triggers back the memory, recanting every vivid detail. Everytime my mates and I hear T-pain earlier songs like bartender or buy you a drank, we always say "oh bro you remember those cesar days?" without fail. Engelbert Humperdinck songs remind me of my father. All those crooning jiwang songs, i'd remember my dad sing it in his own way. I used be annoyed but now i revel in it, it grows on me after time and time again listening to it. I know when the time comes and he does go, he'd forever live in my memory when i replay those songs.
Savour a moment, play a song.
and just chill...
