I think I know what you're getting at. Usually, even if I don't drive, the car somehow ends up looking dirtier.
In this case, I drove in the morning, but that didn't dirty the car much. Also we got some more snow, and lots of melting today, and the car came out looking great. I attribute partly to getting more snow without driving, but also to the very wet snow that melted off nicely and took a lot of existing dirt with it. It may also have helped that it frosted this morning, and that melted off as well, perhaps adding to the "streak-free" effect I got on most of the car.
