Summary: One rainy night, Jaejoong, a mundane business man, picked up a high school student who was sitting on the steeps to his apartment and give him shelter. Little does Jaejoong know that this high school boy might be his dream filled escapade-- after all...

Raindrops fell to the ground like machine gun fire. Jaejoong's dress shoes created a small splash every time he took a step. His brisk pace was broken in the front of his apartment complex. He stood looking down someone sitting on the first few steeps. His high school uniform was soaked through and his hair was matted to his downcast head, and his face was hidden in his hands.

"Excuse me...," Jaejoong whispered, "may I ask what you're doing here?"

The high school student looked up suddenly, his darkly framed eyes staring directly into Jaejoong's. "Shelter from the rain." He said as though he was talking about something entirely different. His wet hair fell down over his face and covered his right eye. With thin fingers the boy brushed the raven hair behind his ear. Jaejoong noticed how long the digits were, and how they moved so smoothly.

"Ah... do you... want to come to my place?" he asked. The boy nodded and stood up, allowing the business man to pass and lead him up to his apartment.

Inside the small apartment Jaejoong dropped his suitcase and got the boy a clean white towel. "Here's the bathroom," he pointed to a white door on the far side of the living room, "go take a shower and warm yourself up."

When the door closed and the water started running Jaejoong sighed, making his way over to his small couch. He drew the curtains over the window, taking the blue lights of the city off the white walls, and went into his room to change out of his business suit.

"What am I doing, letting a stranger in... maybe I'm feeling lonely?"

He shook away the thought and slipped on an old T-shirt.

I don't have a family, a lover, or any close friends.

"It feels like I'm keeping a dog or cat that I picked up," Jaejoong laughed to himself as he went back out to the living room, "although I actually picked up a human instead."

Just then the door to the bathroom opened and the high school boy came out, followed by a cloud of steam. "Ah! Sorry!" Jaejoong gasped as he saw the boy, "I forgot to prepare a change of clothes for you!"

The high school student didn't respond, he only looked away from Jaejoong to the other end of the living room then down to the other end. Jaejoong's eyes took the boy's shifting attention as a chance to take in his body. The white towel the man had given him was hooked lowly on his hips, leaving him shirtless and wet. His stomach was flat and strong, his rib bones curved from his sides up to his strong and solid chest. Yunho turned to the man and  Jaejoong felt his face heat up under the intense stare.

"Wait a second," Jaejoong turned away and went into his room, "I'm going to go get some clothes now," he called over his shoulder. Jaejoong opened his closet and pulled out a shirt and pajama bottoms. He looked down at the fabric with wide eyes, the redness still covering his cheeks.

"Hey," the high school student breathed in the shell of his ear. "What is your name?"

"Eh?!" Jaejoong gasped, "my-- my name?" He took a moment and then turned around and smiled at the boy. "Oh, I still haven't introduced myself. I'm Kim Jaejoong. How about your name?"

"Yunho," he answered, "Jung Yunho."

Jaejoong turned back to the closet and picked up the clothing to hand it to the boy but two strong arms clasped themselves around his thin waist.

"So you always bring men home like this?" Yunho whispered.

Jaejoong was shocked by the blunt question, "What?!" he stuttered.

"As long as it's a man then anyone is okay for you?" Yunho had a smile on his face that was small and made the question seemed playful when it shouldn't have been.

Yunho pushed Jaejoong down on the bed, his own body following seconds later to pin the smaller man down. His long fingers pushed up his old T-shirt and used the fabric to keep his hands above his head.

"What are you doing! Let me go!" Jaejoong struggled.

"You like men, right?" Yunho's face kept that calm, cool smile. "I knew it right after seeing you check me out."

"Stop it...!" Jaejoong's struggling cries were becoming more like moans when Yunho's tongue started sucking on his exposed nipples.

Yunho held Jaejoong's wrists above his head. "It's not my fault. You were the one who let me into your house."

That morning Jaejoong was the first one to wake up. He sat up in bed and looked out the window, then to his still sleeping bed partner. The boy was calm, serene, almost angelic in the morning glow, a striking contrast to the night before. "How many years younger is he...," Jaejoong wondered out loud. "I'm such... an idiot."

Even if it's just a one night stand, the fact that I'm not alone when I wake up... makes me happy.

Hours later the suns rays finally coaxed Yunho out of bed. He awoke to find Jaejoong already gone and the door closed. He slipped on the pair of pajamas Jaejoong tried giving him the other night and went to the door, pausing a moment to listen to the shuffling outside before opening it.

"Ah, good morning!" Jaejoong called from the doorway to the kitchen. He took off the black apron he was wearing and hung it on a hook. "I'm glad you're awake, I was just thinking of waking you up." Jaejoong went into the living room and took a suit jacket from where it was lying on the back of the couch. "Your uniform has been washed and ironed. I made breakfast, too, so eat it!" Jaejoong ordered with a smile on his face. "I'm leaving a duplicate key so when you leave lock the door and leave the key in the mailbox." He grabbed his briefcase and waved. "I'm leaving now."

The door closed and the apartment became quiet. Yunho looked over to the kitchen table were a plate of still warm food was waiting for him. He sat down and scratched the back of his neck. "Weird guy..."

When Jaejoong came home that night he wasn't expecting anyone to be there. "Welcome back," Yunho greeted with a monotone voice. Jaejoong was shocked to see the boy still in his home.

"You didn't go home?" he asked. "Yunho-ah... you're a high school student, right? What about school?"

"I went to school already," Yunho was looking over his shoulder like he didn't want to look at Jaejoong and answer the questions, so Jaejoong stopped asking. He changed clothes and prepared dinner for himself and Yunho. He waited until they were sitting down at the table before saying anything else.

""You should be at home, Yunho." he said after a while. Yunho shook his head and kept eating. "You don't have to go home?" Jaejoong guessed.

"Yea," Yunho said.

"Wouldn't your parents be worried?"

"No," Yunho sipped the last of the soup in his bowl.

"But--"

"They found out I was gay," Yunho explained into his chopsticks, "we fought and I ran out." He looked up from his food into the blond's wide black eyes. "...Am I a bother?"

"No... you're not." Jaejoong smiled.

Yunho didn't smile, but he continued his explanation. "When I go home, basically no one is there. And if they were, no one would prepare meals either. By the way, you're good at cooking, Jaejoong. I want another bowl."

"Sure," Jaejoong laughed.

So he's like me... my sexual prefence got discoved in high school and I left home.

A breathless moan filled Jaejoong's bedroom an hour later, deep pantings and spirals of steam fogged the air.

"Wh-- wait! Stop!" Jaejoong pushed Yunho up from his exposed chest.

"Why?" Yunho asked, that smile back on his face, "didn't you become pretty aggressive halfway through yesterday?" Jaejoong bit his lip and narrowed his eyes but didn't deny it. Yunho slicked back down his stomach, "I'll be gentle today," he said, his chin bumping the soft skin of Jaejoong's stomach, "okay?"

Jaejoong couldn't say no. Yunho captured his lips in a searing kiss and in moments his mouth was back between his legs. The playing wasn't long because both boys were impatient. In minutes Yunho was fully sheathed inside of Jaejoong, the shorter business man sitting on Yunho's lap with his back to the student's chest. Yunho clutched the blond's skinny thighs to bounce him up and down on his lap. Jaejoong's moans were needy and loud, rapture was evident, and the heat was rising in both men's guts. Yunho's tongue poked out of his sweetened lips and licked up the side of Jaejoong's bulging neck.

"You're so great, Jaejoong...," Jaejoong turned around and looked at Yunho through the water in his eyes.

That next night Jaejoong was running late from work. He opened the door and greeted his roommate, "I'm home."

"Welcome home," Yunho called from the kitchen.

Jaejoong was kicking off his shoes when he picked up the smell wafting through the small apartment. "Eh?... I smell curry."

The business man went into the kitchen to see Yunho standing in front of the stove stirring a pot. "I made it today," he said apathetically.

"EH? You made dinner!" Jaejoong gasped loudly, "Yunho-ah, didn't you say you've never cooked before?"

"You were late," Yunho said without turning around. "...I can't guarantee the taste of it."

When they sat down at the table, Jaejoong was smiling and praising the younger boy's cooking. Yunho grumbled, saying the carrots were undercooked. "I said it is delicious!" Jaejoong corrected, with a smile on his face that covered his huge eyes.

Instead of being alone, the two of us being together has become the ordinary.

That's why I've forgotten.

The routine was set. Everything fell into place. The presence of Yunho, the feeling of home it brought to the empty apartment and Jaejoong's heart, the place felt right. Almost... like the perfect true love story.

"the lights are off?" Jaejoong whispered under his breath as he walked up to his apartment one night after work. He went inside and turned the lights on, announcing his return like everyday. He stood silent, looking around the house. "How rare," he mumbled, "he still hasn't come back yet...?"

Jaejoong changed his clothes and made dinner. After wards, he sat on the floor with his back leaning against the couch. He couldn't think of a thing to do other than watch the clock and the door. The untouched meal on the table was looking more and more lonely with each tick of the second hand.

"Guess he's not coming back..."

That's not correct...
It's not that Yunho is not returning...
It's just that here is not where he should be returning to...
Since this place is just a shelter to him.

Jaejoong brought up his knees to his face and dropped his head down. A single tear drop rolled off his eyelash and onto his knuckle, were it glimmered for a second before rolling to the ground.

We didn't make any promises between us,

"What's wrong with me?"

I shouldn't have... picked him up...

With the morning light there came a noise in the long quiet apartment. The door was rattling. Jaejoong rustled in his sleep, his face burrowing farther into his folded arms before poking out. "It's morning," he slurred when he saw the sunlight filtering in through the window on the couch. "Did I sleep out here?"

"Jaejoong!" A voice yelled from the door.

The blond haired man turned towards the now open apartment door.

"Yunho?" he breathed.

"It's so early and you're already awake," Yunho noted as he stood before the other. "Could it be... you were... waiting for me?"

Jaejoong felt his eyes heat. The unpleasant pricking started making his eyes go red and he looked away from Yunho. He stood up and tried to run but Yunho grabbed his arm. In his drowsiness Jaejoong couldn't hold his balance and he went down into Yunho's arms. He clutched the boy's shirt and pulled and pushed at the hard chest. He tried to hold the water in his eyelids as best he could but the warmth from the school boy's body was making it hard.

"Jaejoong!" Yunho gasped. "I'm sorry!" he clutched the older man tighter. "I'm sorry that I didn't contact you!"

The man finally stopped struggling and Jaejoong let his arms fall around Yunho's midsection. "I'm so sorry..." Yunho mumbled again.

Jaejoong decided to cook because it seemed the 'most normal' thing to do. As he prepared a small lunch Yunho explained everything to him.

"I didn't know the number here, nor your cellphone number." Yunho said. "When i went back home to get my stuff surprisingly my parents were there. I went through a bit of trouble, and by the time i got out, the last train was gone already. So, I took the early train back."

"Your stuff?" Jaejoong motioned with his head towards two black bags on the floor.

"All the things I need daily."

"Don't tell me... you're planning on living here!" Jaejoong turned around to find Yunho inches from him, a chopped vegetable between his lips in thoughtful chewing,

"Yea," he answered simply.

"Wait a second!" Jaejoong ordered, "You never told me! And your parents probability wouldn't allow it!"

"There's no need to worry about my parents." Yunho licked the juice off the tip of his thumb. "They are confused on how to treat me so it's better to be apart for right now."

Jaejoong turned back to the stove with a pout on his face. "But...," he muttered.

Yunho went behind him and embraced the blond to his chest, wrapping his long arms around Jaejoong's apron clad chest.

"Besides..." he smiled, not the same, but a brighter smile, "you seem so lonely if I'm not around."

Jaejoong pursed his lips in and tried to fight his blush. "Why says I'm..."

Lonely.

"I want to be here, too." Yunho nuzzled his face into the side of Jaejoong's hair. "Since your cooking is so tasty... you will become a good wife right?"

Jaejoong left his annoyance give way to a small smile. "...yea." he answered.

It makes me happy... to be needed by someone.
