Great Moments in Song Introductions
The Chorus and Quartet had performances today at Barbershop at the Beach. The Chorus was booked for a semi-long time slot, so the quartets were asked to fill in with a few songs each. One of the quartets sang a decidedly non-barbershop number. For their next song, the introduction began:
This next song is strictly barbershop. We hope you enjoy it anyway.
The real highlight of the evening was discovering that our waitress at dinner was a music ed major and was quite able to join us in some tag singing. Can you say smitten? I knew you could.
