Harmony College: Location, Location, Location
There was much rejoicing when it was announced Harmony College would be returning to Missouri Western. On most counts, I have to agree. One of the more bizarre things that makes MWSU desirable is the cell phone coverage. My provider has two signals, the older digital signal for voice calls and an advanced signal for "broadband". My phone pays attention to the relative strength of both signals if they're both around. MWSU lacks the broadband signal, which means my phone's battery lasts forever here. At home, were it's always tracking the broadband, I need to recharge every 36 hours or so. Here, I've gone three days. The phone's web surfing is slightly slower, but not unacceptably slower. It's not even a loss of functionality!
