Holt Road Construction Explained

Sep 07, 2004 12:22

Clearly, the development company didn't consult me before signing up the various companies. I'll have to miss tonight's planning meeting, but it's clear ( Read more... )

Hmm . . . I rarely sit down at either, and I don't drink coffee. I have been known to enjoy hot chocolate, but that's not usually much of a concern when I go into a book store.j

Speaking of chairs and coffee . . .

we do both quite frequently, sit and drink coffee ("pay rent"). The shairs prank was funny; now I want to do that! :-)

Hmm . . . I guess I haven't been to an Olive Garden in about eight years. Maybe they suck less now. Have you been to a Macaroni Grill for comparison?

I'm partial to Olive Garden for their kickass salad/breadsticks and~!!!! their very awesome soups.

heh. I also had a very bad wine experience at Macaroni grill here too. I was like :X~~~~

It's in Webster, less than a mile from my townhouse. 590 North to 104 East, get off at the fourth exit and turn left. Webster has no big book or music places yet, so that'll be an improvement. Of course, the way-high prices of B&N will be an annoyance.

I wonder if they'll have a nice used book section like the one in...uh...err...whatever that town's name was in rochester where BN was located...i have seem to forgotten the names of towns in rochester that weren't henrietta. haha. well, wherever it was, that BN had a great used book section. It really super disappointed me that the one out here didn't have one like that -- but then again, when i started working there, i was glad they didn't have one.

It's all relative i suppose. haha :D!!

(god i wish i could remember the name of that town!!!! it also had a nice record store across the street with a theatre... that we never went to...and a nice toy store in that plaza. I can't remember anything else.)

you mean pittsford? where fantastic is now closed... as is the theatre that was in the same plaza as pittsford... it's now the rochester athletic club for women. the toy store is closed too, i believe. although there is a kb*toys.

Hello, where is Olive Garden. And, have you noticed that Soccer Sam's is GONE? You obviously aren't looking too closely...

Nice attitude. You're responding to a post from September of 2004. I never actually ate at Soccer Sam's, but I think it was still open back then.

Olive Garden didn't come to fruition, possibly due to other stores backing out. There are apparently complicated contractual requirements these places can put on mall developers regarding the traffic generated by anchor stores and the other restaurants. I suspect Red Robin took what would've been Olive Garden's spot.
