Sigh
Picture this:
Standing in a slow moving elevator at the gym with an Arab man. He is wearing traditional clothing (not gym clothing) and makes eye contact with me. He's carrying a large gym bag. While locking eyes with me, he starts singing/humming an Arabic song and fidgets with his gym bag. He never breaks his gaze. Even when exiting the elevator, he keeps his eyes locked on me paces out in sync with the song.
Am I crazy? Am I racist? What the hell was this guy's problem? I'd still be creeped out if he was an All-American boy locking eyes with me and singing/humming Bruce Springsteen. It's just creepy.
