My brother is a flight engineer for C-130 cargo planes in the US Air Force. He's been doing this for 17 years. I've tried to dismiss it as cushy, humanitarian work. He only flies in to war torn areas to deliver cargo supplies -- you know -- like food, band-aids & chocolate for the kids. Along the way, he gets to rack up his frequent flyer miles & drink with his buddies. Easy, right?
