*Avoids the wire as she zooms under it* Sorry for the lateness! Here's Spiderbutt Lacerate back!

Old Acquaintances

Rating: PG-13

Lacerate knew the silver mech all too well.

Many times previously he had engaged the frontline warrior in combat and truth be told, he always enjoyed encountering the mech because he was so easy to toy with. All it took was one mention of the twin the mech once had and that was enough to torture him within his processor.

Smirking a very twisted little smirk, Lacerate edged closer to his prey. They had encountered each other so many times now that both knew when the other was nearby and therefore couldn't sneak up on each other. This was confirmed when the silver mech straightened.

"I can smell your rusting stench from here." The silver mech turned his head fractionally to glance over his shoulder.

"Come now, Sideswipe." Lacerate retorted in a sadistically gleeful manner. "Is that any way to talk to an old friend?"

"You are no friend, Decepticon." Sideswipe flexed the blades affixed to his arms. "An acquaintance perhaps, but none I care to remember fondly."

"You wound me, Sideswipe, I have always thought fondly of you."

"I'm sure you have."

"And I also enjoy thinking about that skillful twin of your's." Lacerate continued. "Such a shame Sunstreaker is no longer around."

Predictably, Sideswipe tensed. "Shut your fragging mouth."

"Have I told already told you how I watched Megatron tear him apart, slowly, one limb at a time? I tend to be a tad forgetful, but then again it is worth telling more than once."

Sideswipe lunged at Lacerate, but the Decepticon easily countered. He was grinning broadly, sharpening his claws ready to tear into the silver mech should he be given the chance. "You're just fragged off Megatron didn't die by your hand."

"But I can still deactivate you." Sideswipe replied, a grim little smile on his own faceplates. "Nothing would give me more pleasure."

Lacerate activated his machine guns and fired them at the frontliner, but Sideswipe evaded by swiftly ducking under them and swinging his arm blades, he slashed across Lacerate's chestplates. The Decepticon screeched and retreated back, looking down at the long gash across his front and then glared back at the warrior.

"Such an unwise thing to do, that."

Lacerate retaliated by leaping at Sideswipe and latching for a moment onto the front of the warrior. It gave him enough time to claw his way through Sideswipe's chestplates before leaping back. The warrior yelled and stumbled a little, and as Lacerate landed he admired his quick handy work. Energon was already seeping through the gashes and it gave the Decepticon a shivering thrill.

"You really must be careful, Sideswipe." Lacerate tormented. "After all, we wouldn't want you to go the same way as your twin, what would I do for fun then?"

Sideswipe's head shot up to snarl at Lacerate, but the Decepticon was already retreating. He could kill Sideswipe if he wanted, but it was so much more enjoyable to torture him within his processor and what him suffer than it was to simply deactivate him. Lacerate had learned that over the millions of stellar cycles with past prey he'd hunted.
