Jazz a silk-making bee
It's a Jazz/Prowl series. I believe of 3 stories. I'm 99.9% sure it's on Ao3.
The first Prowl is in heat, or something like it. Only instead of asking someone to 'face him and get it over with, he locks himself away. Jazz will have none of it. We learn that Jazz can make silk cocoons and lay eggs, and Prowl has two valves.
The second is set after Prime beats the bolts out of Prowl in IDW. Jazz finds him and takes him home.
Home is a place like a bee hive, with honey that heals and hasn't had a queen to incubate their eggs in a long time.
Oh, and Jazz is a juvenile and half Cybertronian.
