Prompt # 1 Chosen character is stuck in alt mode, unable to transform.
Silverbolt dripped into recharge while in Concord jet form. He was too exhausted to transform and walk to the quarters he shared with the other Aerialbots. Lately, it had taken everything he had to just get to the Ark and not let exhaustion drag him into recharge the moment he touched down.
While snoozing Silverbolt didn’t notice when human pilots - for in his desperation to get some uninterrupted recharge before he crashed, or was forced into stasis due to dangerously low energy levels, he had landed in an open airfield, - taxiing him to an out-of the- way open hanger, so their scheduled flights could land and take off without needing to divert to an alternate airport field.
Silverbolt didn’t wake up when curious humans swarmed his frame, sat inside the cockpit, trying to find identification of owner/pilot and registration marks.
It was a good eight hours after being moved out of the way that Silverbolt started to stir. Onlining optics, he was astonished to find his tanks were full. Sensing no humans in the area, he started to stand up.
Tried to anyway. “Why can’t I transform?” The full fuel tank was bothering him, so Silverbolt analyzed the combustible fluid. “Jet fuel? Not energon?”
Before Silverbolt could begin to thrash around in panic, Prowl’s voice came thorugh the communication system. “Decepticons spotted in your area, swarming the oil tanker Black Gold, and fighter escort. Can you assist?”
Engines turned over. Scattering cons, he could do. “ten four, Prowl - be there in a jiffy.”
And he was. While his faster teammates were scrambling to reach the sky, then cross the continent, Silverbolt raced over the ocean, ready to teach the cons to always watch their backs.
