[PG] Super Powers! brute force vs. writers block
Prompt #1: 2013 master list -- May 25 2013, Setting: A character develops a super power (Something I really got sidetracked from...)
'Verse: Warped Minds AU (G1 family pre-canon)
Characters: Shockwave, Soundwave, Megs, Sunstorm, Starscream
Warnings: CRACK ALERT, bad writing in dialogue form (no, really, why am I even posting this?), allusions to non-consensual medical experimentation.
"Shockwave! Have you repaired Starscream, yet? I hope you have good news for me!" Demanded Megatron, marching into the Scientist's lair, "Our safe house is full of Seekers, do you hear me? It's full!"
"Seekers: Undisciplined,-" interjected Soundwave, "-Noisy, prone to converse in narrow corridors. Passages: congested."
"Lord Megatron!" Shockwave greeted, and paused when Megatron face twisted in disgust at the title.
"You know how I feel about titles, Shockwave."
"Forgive me, Lord Megatron. I have called you here for a matter of grave importance. Have you heard of Vector Sigma?"
"Vector Sigma? I hope that isn't more Autobot religious nonsense, Shockwave.."
"The megacomputer which sparked life in all Cybertronians!"
Behind Shockwave a golden sphere rose into the air, glowing with power. Megatron's optics narrowed. Religious nonsense indeed.
"You called me here to see this relic?"
"Negative, Lord Megatron! Behold! Vector Tau, which I have created from the remnants of Vector Gamma, and the plans for Vector Delta! With this, I can code the very spark of new life, given the appropriate template."
"A cloning device?" Megatron suddenly looked thoughtful. "Does it work?"
"Affirmative, Lord Megatron! Behold! My newest creation, an all new Destron Aerial Warrior! Sunstorm."
Shockwave motioned Megatron and Sounwave to move past him, further into the laboratory. Twin gantry systems supported the offline frames of starscream... and another Seeker.
"More? You used it to make more Seekers?!"
"Negative, my Lord! Only the one!"
"That's bad enough! You disappoint me, Shockwave! I set you one task: repair Starscream. You have failed to do that, and instead present me with... exactly what I don't need more of! "
Shockwave had the grace to look embarrassed, at last.
"My Lord, I have repaired Starscream, but he was too annoying to keep conscious."
"Oh. Good work, Shockwave." Megatron understood completely. "Then tell me about this new warrior. Does he possess some new impressive sigma power?"
"Technically, my Lord, this is a Tau power. Behold!"
With no more warning than that, Sunstorm burst into flames.
