Author's notes: When I got the Seekers assignment, I decided I really wanted to do it in the TFA-'Verse, and I got any continuity, so... I tried to keep a lot of the characterizations, although I did research, so I could use the basis for these versions from different fandoms - or sort of smoosh a couple of the different versions.

Um, and I'm so sorry if this isn't quite satisfactory. I have reasons, but I'll bitch about them later if you haven't heard after authors are revealed and all. (And due to time restraints, I'll rewrite heavily if needed.)

Oh, and because this hasn't gotten long enough, I'm using nanoclick as in second - which the TF wiki says it may be.

Do it Like a Robot, Princess Superstar

Thrust, Ramjet and Skywarp's argument bled into white noise as Thundercracker tried to think over their voices, growing louder as each one found some new insult. Not that any of them meant anything, and Thundercracker suspected that they were fighting off boredom more than fighting each other since it hadn't gotten physical. Yet. Sunstorm was unusually quiet, which was worrisome, and the looks Dirge were giving them, and occasionally throwing Thundercracker were unnerving at best. If he became too bothered by the others…

Thundercracker turned his attention back to the task at hand. If Megatron had truly been terminated, things might have been different. But now, with him online, and with Starscream being hunted down, they really didn't have much of a choice. The thought propelled Thundercracker onward, and as his speed increased, he noticed the other Seekers had all gotten quiet. Now, with the sounds of the argument gone, he found the silence worse. Thundercracker had to push back the doubts about this whole mission. Still, Megatron had called them, and he expected them to come and to obey whatver orders they were given. While he had considered not coming, he doubted the other Seekers would have allowed it. They pretty much went everywhere together, with the exception of Starscream, unless they were on a mission that called for them to be apart. Seemed like part of their programming was that urge to be kept as a single unit.

Thundercracker began listening to the new grumblings as they neared the Earth's moon, mostly Sunstorm this time. As always, the fanatical ramblings disturbed Thundercracker, who grew uneasy as they landed. When Sunstorm wasn't spouting insanity, he actually got along pretty well with the others, Thundercracker included.

"We should not be here." Sunstorm spoke again, although he was being somewhat rational this time.

"Yeah, well, we are." Motioning the others forward, Thundercracker took a step before the hand on his shoulder stopped him. He almost spoke again, but just turned to look over his shoulder, glaring when he saw Sunstorm right behind him. "What?"

"This is wrong." Sunstorm was going to get all insistent, push them until they did what he wanted, or until they left him to his own devices.

"What your saying is that what Megatron wants is-"

"Unimportant."

Frag Thundercracker was well aware that of the looks he was getting from the others; he had to say something, and soon. "Fine. We leave Starscream alone." Right now, taking care of Starscream could wait, if that was what was bothering Sunstorm. From the even look he was giving Thundercracker, it was hard to tell. He didn't say anything when Thundercracker turned towards the wreck, wary about this whole setup. "Come on."

Thundercracker had to admit to having his own doubts. For starters, this did seem like a setup. Because if it was just Starscream, would they all really need to be here? And then, there was the fact that it just felt wrong, all of them going after another Seeker. Behind him, one of the others snickered softly. Thundercracker tensed, wings taut, anticipating the need for flight already. If worst came to worst, taking to the skies was the safest course of action.

"We gotta move this slowly?" Thrust grumbled loudly, his voice a low rumble that attracted attention even when he wasn't trying.

"Thundercracker is right. We should be careful." Sunstorm spoke slowly, lowering his voice, although his words only got him more protest, from all the others this time. It figured they would want to rush in, although Starscream would have to be handled carefully, especially if they were planning on letting him escape. Not exactly a good idea, but neither was terminating him.

Thuncdercracker kept moving slowly, although it turned out there hadn't really been necessary. At the sight of what Starscream had done, Thundercracker froze. He knew that the other Seeker had created clones, but he hadn't realized there were this many. Then again, he doubted Megatron realized either, or else he would have said something. So far, though, all Thundercracker could see was the clones, suspended, offline so that they proved no threat. Thundercracker relaxed, until he was commed by Sunstorm. Agreed. No threat unless Starscream is hiding amongst them.

Thundercracker responded sharply. Offline? It would be stupid, even by his standards. Even for someone who had tried to terminate Megatron, multiple times if the rumors passed around by Blitzwing and Lugnut proved to be true. Not that Thundercracker, or any of the Seekers, had much time to speak to the two, nor the desire to keep up that conversation.

He caught movement, in his peripheral vision, and found Sunspot moving up, to flank Thundercracker. The other Seeker tensed, Thundercracker following suit; Sunstorm appeared caught off guard now that he'd studied the clones. Thundercracker smirked, knowing he shouldn't say anything, but it was just too good to resist. "Don't tell me. Brings back memories."

Sunstorm tensed further, before turning to Thundercracker, optics brighter now. Blazing in fact. He was a little sensitive about the clones, which was understandable. Sunstorm being a clone of Starscream himself, it had to be hard finding out that Starscream had replicated the process, just to blow them up.

"No." The answer Sunstorm finally gave was too terse, and he turned back to his study of the clones, wasting time that none of them had to spare. He had obviously already begun planning, and Thundercracker shuddered slightly at the thought. He didn't want to know, especially when they had a mission, which seemed to be taking second place to everything else at the moment.

"So, what, we spread out?"

Thundercracker winced at the volume of the Thrust's voice. Bad idea, but at least he was actually trying.

"We stay together until we know Starscream's position." Normally, he would have agreed with Skywarp, but they knew Starscream, and they knew his weaknesses. He'd give them time to defeat him if only because he would want to brag about how he had outsmarted both Megatron and the Autobot forces on Earth so if they stayed together, they would all be there and prepared to attack once Starscream showed himself. Unless he was enough of a coward to remain hidden, possibly amongst the clones as Sunstorm had suggested. Still unlikely, as he had to know that someone would eventually track him down.

Silence settled back into the wreck of the ship, until Thundercracker broke it, by moving forward, doing his best to focus on anything but the clones. Seeing them together, like this, made him feel as if he were being watched. Not impossible, and in fact very likely as Starscream was still close enough that he had to be in the ship. Not a bad hideout, except he'd forgotten to plan on the fact that the other Seekers would be able to track him. And even that hadn't been easy, although Thundercracker was the only one who knew the true reason why. Even with those mega cycles to get used to the idea, the fact that Starscream was online without a spark still made Thundercracker go cold. It was unnatural, and only possible because of the Allspark fragment. Still, Thundercracker had decided that there was no reason for the others to know, at least not going in.

Thrust, Skywarp and Ramjet were speaking softly, and Thundercracker didn't bother trying to make out the words. Their steps were getting careless, louder, and Thundercracker clenched his hands at his sides; at least some of the other Seekers were all getting restless. Explaining himself now would be useless, but if they stuck together, it wouldn't give Starscream a chance to come at one of them from behind.

It didn't stop him from coming from the side, the sound of the screech causing Thundercracker to freeze. as did the others. He raised his arms, preparing to fire, but Starscream had the advantages - surprise, and he seemed to fare better on the ground. Thundercracker grunted softly as he was pinned to the wall, Starscream keeping the advantage for now. Except, of course, that there were too many of them to keep that upper ground. Thundercracker smirked at the thought. Once they drew Starscream out of the wreckage, and took to the air, they could easily outmaneuver Starscream…

Although, the way he was eyeing the group, he wasn't going to make that easy. Even here, out in the open, he had the advantage. The others would risk Thundercracker, especially if trying to save him meant that they went to Megatron with only excuses. Thundercracker forced himself not to shudder. He'd risk any one of the others in the same situation.

"Aw, c'mon, Starscream. We weren't gonna do anything. Not to you anyway."

Thundercracker flinched. It was typical of Skywarp to give away the fact that they weren't planning on harming Starscream; it meant that they had less to work with because Starscream would assume that he was off limits. Not exactly the case, but close enough that Starscream would now be able to take advantage of it.

Starscream's response was to push at Thundercracker again, adding pressure, so that Thundercracker's wings scrapped against the metal wall of the ship. He glared at Starscream, but kept from saying anything; if he gave in, it would only serve to make him look weak, while arguing would give Starscream more reason to fight back. He finally settled into a slightly more comfortable position, nodding his agreement. "We didn't come here for you. But it won't stop us from going through you if we need to." He spoke softly, and Starscream let up a little, grinning at Thundercracker, who looked away. Right at Thurst and Skywarp who had their arms crossed over their chests, impatiently waiting for Thundercracker and Starscream to finish.

Thundercracker squirmed, pushing Starscream away. It wouldn't have worked, but Starscream seemed willing to let go, for now, pulling back, considering. No doubt he thought that Megatron believed he was the Decepticon's leader top priority, instead of just one of the reasons that the other Seekers were here.

Thundercracker let out a small sigh of relief as Starscream took a step back. "Of course not." Starscream sounded suspicious, and he took in the group again, finally grinning. "Megatron is offline, he just doesn't know it yet."

Frag, it sounded like he was just getting started. And almost like he was recruiting…

Not that he'd have much time, not with Skywarp and Thrust already getting ready to attack, Thrust's engines growling, as if unable to do anything but call attention to himself. As Starscream turned to face Thrust, Thundercracker looked to Sunstorm, seeing just how unsettled he was. Not good, not at all, not with the solar-powered fusion reactor. Wait, make that the unstable solar-powered fusion reaction.

And right now, Sunstorm looked like he was getting… hot. Thundercracker waited to see if Sunstorm would do make another move, finally deciding he would hold off for now.

Which meant they had to get out. By the time Thundercracker turned his attention back to Starscream, he was out, which wasn't good enough for Skywarp, who kept going after Starscream, as if trying to destroy him despite the Allspark fragment. Also not good. "Hey, Skywarp, let's get out of here." After they were done with the rest of their task - the one part they were actually planning to go through with.

Thrust's voice was a low rumble, full of ugly glee, although he was only watching Skywarp, and not joining in the beating. "We've got to have some fun. And if you ask me, he's asking for it."

Okay, maybe he was. Then again, Thrust seemed much more confident in Megatron than Thundercracker had ever been, and if Thundercracker were ever to falter, Thrust would be the first one to remind him of just why it would be impossible to disobey orders.

Thundercracker shook his head, trying to motion to Sunstorm without being too obvious about it. Right now, he was the most immediate threat. "Spread out." The rest of the order went without saying.

It took Thundercracker a couple of nanoclicks to figure out what had happened. He remembered Starscream coming at him, although he shouldn't have posed a problem, at least not until long after they were gone. He remembered Starscream going on about betrayal, which was actually kind of funny coming from him.

The amusement was gone quickly, because he remembered Sunstorm, and groaned. Starscream had been more than happy to shoot orders at Sunstorm, who followed them, although he didn't seem very happy about them. He apparently hadn't followed through since Thundercracker was still here….

He knew there should have been more, but he couldn't remember, and didn't want to waste time now. He did a quick diagnostic, tried to recover the data, but when that didn't work, he focused on the present. Giving a small groan, he pushed himself to his feet. Thrust, Ramjet, and Skywarp were here - which left Dirge piloting. Good.

"Did we get it?" The fact that he even had to ask that wasn't good, and the others were giving each other looks. Comming each other, which meant that Thundercracker was conveniently out of the loop while the discussed… him, most likely. "Well, did we or not?"

"Yeah, yeah… Don't worry about it." Thrust almost sounded confrontational about it, although he tended to whenever he spoke.

"All of it?" Thundercracker hated letting his neuroses slip, but he really only trusted himself fully - and he had to make sure.

"Yup. All of it," Skywarp confirmed.

Good. Thundercracker nodded, and looked past them, wanting desperately to go check for himself.

"You don't trust us." Ramjet, sullen all of the sudden, shot Thundercracker an expectant look.

"I didn't…" Thundercracker shook his head as he trailed off, deciding a change of topic was in order. "If we'd been outside the ship, we could have taken him."

Skywarp just shrugged. "Yeah. Maybe."

If he wasn't convinced, then maybe they couldn't have. Frag. What was going on? Sure, Starscream had the Allspark fragment, but even that shouldn't have been enough for him to take them all out. He might not go offline, not permanently, but he could be taken out, and he wasn't any stronger or smarter...

Then again, they hadn't counted on the clones, although Megatron had known that Starscream was capable of making the them. He had insisted that the two they had encountered had been the only two. Now, Thundercracker wondered if Megatron had known that for a fact or had only said it to get Thundercracker to agree to take the Seekers to Starscream. Possibly, and in fact probably, the latter. They would have made it impossible to defeat Starscream, had he any time to bring any of them online. Which depended on if they had already been programmed or not.

"Alright then. Get Dirge down here. If we're going to pull off letting Starscream get away, we're going to have to all be on the same page." And that didn't even cover why Sunstorm wasn't with them....

Thundercracker wasn't sure exactly how the talk had turned out the way it had. Sure, Skywarp and Thurst didn't really want to talk, and Ramjet just wasn't happy because he couldn't pick a fight with anyone, and Dirge usually didn't say anything at all - but Thundercracker had expected him to speak up now.

Instead, he found himself pressed up against the wall again, not quite as forcefully, so he squirmed a little, not really trying to get away this time. Skywarp smirked, roughly running his fingers along Thundercracker's side, no more gentle as his fingers wedged under the plates, drawing a groan from Thundercracker as he felt the tips of Skywarp's fingers run along sensitive wires.

Not that he protested. In fact, he encouraged the other Seeker, mostly by reciprocating, quickly finding the edge of one of Thundercracker's side plates, not bother toying with the wires. No, Thundercracker just got to it, giving small, but eager, tugs, which got Skywarp to turn serious. Somewhere to the side, Thrust's engines growled impatiently.

That was how it started at least, and it had gone on, while the ship quickly brought them to Earth. Because all of them knew this was just a distraction, a tactic to keep them from talking until it was too late. Thundercracker tried to resist once, arguing that they needed to get their stories straight, but his words were weak, scrambled even.

Plus, it wasn't like he wanted to stop. Dimly aware that this would most likely be his only chance at what the others were offering, he simply took it, no longer using reason to try and deny any of them. He saw movement out of the corner of his eyes, and turned to watch Dirge moving forward, studying the pair intently, even as Skywarp began to pull at Thundercracker's wires, with a little less grace than Thundercracker had expected.

And again, a sharper tug this time, causing Thundercracker to cry out softly.

He hadn't been paying attention to Dirge or Thrust or Ramjet, and was only now aware of their presence, close, hovering even. Shivering slightly, Thundercracker reached out, not sure himself if he was reaching for anyone of them, or just for them all in general. It didn't matter. Instinct and pleasure - or the need for it - took over, and suddenly it felt as if they were all hands.

It was the focal point for them, hands seeking out ports, and wires, delving into the former - carefully for the most part, toying with, pulling the wires. At one point, Thundercracker was fairly sure one snapped, sharp, almost blinding pain, although it only lasted a nanoclick, although none of the others seemed to notice. And although the wiring would have to be looked at, it could wait Thundercracker decided after a momentary internal scan that told him there was no damage of immediate importance. It could probably even wait until after they spoke to Megatron.

There was a sharp ache, bearable, especially since Thundercracker had so many other distractions. Hands, more hands, and the decisions about where to put his own. Someone ran their fingers along the top edge of his wing his wing, and he shuddered slightly in pleasure, one hand remaining amongst wires, the other reaching for a wing, fingers digging in, followed by a low, rumbling sound.

He pulled, a body coming closer, although Thundercracker had given up tryinig to keep track of who was where by now. He just didn't care at this point, so long as he had the others near, touching him. He found that he cared more for his own pleasure than theirs, although he saw no reason to feel otherwise; he didn't have to ask them to know they felt the same. The rough way they treated one another made it more than easy to tell.

He heard the chest plates sliding open before he saw the movement, pulling back the hand that had been resting on the top of one of the other's wings. He flipped his own switch as he felt the small wash of heat from the other's spark, not needing to ask who know. He just knew.

It didn't take long for them all to be exposed, although they chose to go the easier route this time, pairing up. Thundercracker had once again ended up pressed against Skywarp, nothing between them now. It had been too much leading up to this, and they both succumbed quickly. Although Thundercracker wouldn't admit it, when he came online, finding all the others still offline, he had to admit he might have been the first to go offline himself.

He quickly focused on something else, a vague, nagging memory. Right before he had gone offline earlier, in the wreckage of the ship, Starscream had said something about Shockwave, although Thundercracker hadn't been paying much attention, assuming they were useless ramblings. Now, though, he wished he had actually listened. They might have something else to give Megatron, besides the loss of Sunstorm. However, not knowing what had happened between Starscream and Shockwave, Thundercracker decided to find out more before he said anything about it himself.
