Title: Forever-Not
Rating: PG-13
Series: Generation 1
Characters:  Jazz, Bluestreak
Summary:   Jazz does not make an ideal moral officer - nor is he all that great at counseling others.
Warnings: (implied depression)
Notes:  Do not try cheering others up in this manner.  Not at all.
Prompt:  Jazz/Bluestreak: Once Upon A Time

“Come on Blue,” Jazz pleaded with the young Praxian, “all this anger and anguish isn’t good for any bot,”

Bluestreak glared over his cube of Energon, “You watch your city being destroyed around you, then we’ll talk.”

Jazz flung himself into the seat next to the gray mech.  “Lost my family long before Crystal City was smelted.  Don’t see me moping and pining for ‘em.”

“So what?  Were you unable to do anything to save them?  Trapped and scared as they were deactivated one-by-one just because?”

“Blue, I might have cost the cons more than the pain they caused for me, but that’s not why I stopped living in the past, dwelling on their last moments.”

“Go away Jazz,” the sniper growled.  “This ain’t a human-tales.  Happy Endings don’t exist.”

Title:  off-duty Escapades
Rating:  PG+
Series:  Generation 1
Characters:  Smokescreen, Sideswipe
Summary: Getting drunk leads to crazy ideas.
Warnings:  implied overcharge
Prompt: Smokescreen/Sideswipe:  My Kind of a good time

“Hey there, partner,” Smokescreen saluted the red twin.  “Nice moves on the field.”

Sideswipe ignored the twinge of guilt he felt.  “Smokescreen; what brings you around these parts?”

“Didn’t you hear?”  the gambler grinned.  “Because none of his favorite patients got hurt, Ratchet’s gone awol.  Seems this is the perfect time to celebrate.”

Not having an eyebrow over his optic to raise, Sideswipe still managed to give off an expression of disbelief.  “All part of my master plan.”  Again, Sunstreaker’s growing alarm was pushed aside.

It was Smokescreem’s turn to show skepticism.  “Causing Ratchet to drink is you’re intention?”

“Nope.”  An evil smirk appeared on Sideswipe’s facial plates.  “Getting him to leave the still in his medbay unguarded is.”

“Oh.   OH!”  Smokescreen’s smile did nothing to reassure anyone.  “A raiding party - what fun.”

Title:  Overreacting
Rating: PG+
Series: Generation 1
Character: Blast Off
Summary: Gestalts always know what the others are feeling - and it’s not pleasant for some
Warnings:  none
Prompt:  Vortex/Prowl: Crazy in love

Blast Off typically ignored what the rest of the Combaticons were doing and feeling.   Usually it was easy to push aside the impressions and feelings coming across the gestalt bond.

After all, he had had a lot of practice doing his own thing.

This time, Vortex wasn’t making it easy to put aside the current obsession of the crazy Helicopter.    The odd mood was driving Blast Off mad.

“That’s it!”  The space shuttle snarled.  “Vortex!  I’m coming for you!”  The verbal warning wasn’t necessary, as the former Vought F4U Corsair caught the mood of his brother long before Blast Off emerged from his self-imposed exile.

Onslaught met Blast Off before the mech could render Vortex inert.  “Move aside, boss.”

“No.   (pause)    We destroy the object of Vortex’s obsession.”

That decision pleased Blast Off.  “Well then, let’s go hunt down Prowl.”
