state of the community
hello everyone! it's been a while since i've done one of these state of the comm posts, i know. i promise to keep this one short!
things are January-slow around here right now, which is pretty normal. (huge waves of STUFF being submitted this time of year would actually make me worried!) things were a bit rocky in December, as i got a new job and the rest of the mod team had Real Life stuff happen, but things are sailing (mostly) more smoothly now. we apologize for the turbulence and assure you that it wasn't a regular thing!
my project for the community going into February is to clean up the tag list. we only have a certain number that we're allowed as a community, so i'm trying to delete unused tags and merge the ones that can be merged. i've done some of that already (created a "universal" format for challenge tags, deleted duplicates, merged tags that were for the exact same thing, corrected names, etc) but then i came across a few potential issues.
to resolve those issues, i would like it if the community took a moment to vote in this four question poll. i'll use these results to finish wrangling our tags throughout February.
