“You have really no idea of the concept ‚romantic‘, do you?” Prowl fondly teased after Prime had blundered and stuttered through talking about the mood.
“Hush you.” Optimus smiled, still a bit embarrassed, and pulled him against his side in a one-armed hug. Prowl leant into him, hand curling into the edge of the truck’s windshield. Night was quiet and dark in Detroit everywhere for once.
Peaceful. Serene. Usually impossible.
One should have expected chaos and mayhem from the power shortage - but, at least this time, it had laid a summer sky’s blanket over the city. The moon glowed and each star was a tiny speck of quicksilver that flickered, shone and danced. Just reach out and you could touch them, touch the sky, the space above Earth.
“We had quite a bit luck even crime seems to be resting to night.” Prowl whispered.
“Yeah. And that we took the chance. This is… wonderful.”
The ninja-bot hid a smile when Prime stopped himself from more words. Not that they were necessary. The young bot sounded and felt relaxed, awed even, with Prowl at his side under the huge moon. He picked the hand on shoulder and bent the wrist to lay a kiss on his palm. Optimus’ engine gave a tiny rev. He stared at him, optics wide, and Prowl couldn’t do else but lean up and kiss him.
