Notes: Real life has been horrible this past month. I've started and re-started this prompt so many times i'd all but given up, when my muse suddenly passed me this and it just kind of worked. Yay for drabbles!

Betrayal. So many had fallen because of him. So many lives lost, and it was all his doing.
'It must be this way, it is fortold.'
How could this have been the only way? How could the loss of so many of his companions, of his leader, be the right path?
'Promise me.'
Why him though? Why had he been trusted to betray everything he should have fought for? To betray him?
'This is my purpose.'
Didn't he understand that he was his purpose? Without him...
'Please... for me.'
'If you wish it... Optimus...'
