G1 Bluestreak
*hands tucked behind him, optics fixed on the ceiling in thought, he rocks back on his heels and then forward onto his toes, swaying idly*
Well, the most basic rules are there to keep everyone from getting themselves hurt or breaking the equipment and making sure everyone gets along and works together in the most efficient way possible

What exactly is a 'Slip 'N Slide'?
Reply
*blinks - he hadn't even thought that someone wouldn't know what it was, but then he just forgets not everyone is from the same universe these days*
It's a human toy - a long tarp that they cover in water and then they take a running start and see how far they can slide on it on their abdomens. It's really pretty fun, if you ever get the chance I'd say definitely give it a try, but remember not to use Wheeljack's joint lubricant, or Ratchet's stuff either because he gets kind of miffed about people using his supplies...

Slip 'N Slide is all fun and games until you set it up on a hill, which seemed like an amazing idea in theory, and send all your friends down it after everyone's had three or four drinks in them, without checking for rocks underneath... *hugs her sides*

*considers how much more fun it could be after a few High Grades...*
Rocks could cause dents, I will make sure to check for them. Thank you for the advice my lady. *bows a bit*

O-oh, you're welcome... *returns a nod to the bow*
If you're seriously considering it, the only precautionary advice I can give you is to secure the thing, or it's going straight down the hill with everyone in it...

*winces sympathetically*
Oww... yeah it'd sound like a good idea to put it on a hill and slide down but... ow, rocks are pit on the paint and I can only imagine what they'd do to a little human like you, you're so soft and cuddly and you bruise easy...
*worries over Maggie for a moment*

I was the last one down, so I just kind of landed on top of the pile. I've never seen what seemed like such a good idea at the time turn so badly so fast. One of my friends ended up with stitches straight across his stomach, it was gross.
*looks a little pale and is very likely done talking about Slip 'N Slide fails*

*cringes a little further - he didn't know what it was like for humans to get a cut that bad, but if they required welding, it was usually pretty painful*
Eesh, Maggie, that's... ow... that sounds like it hurt a lot... you're not going to do that anymore, are you? Because I don't know how to fix humans if they get hurt - I don't even know how to fix myself if I get hurt, and I wouldn't want to see you bl-bleeding or anything like that because...because...

No, I can safely say my Slip 'N Slide days are over. Paintball on the other hand... We go on a lot of these weird team-building professional development days at RAND. Some of my co-workers deserve what's coming for them when we're on opposite teams.

Don't ever play paintball with Ironhide, though, he's sort of mean about who he targets 'cause he's not really... sadistic about it but he's got a mean sense of humor when he's playing with guns that aren't really going to hurt anyone. It stings a lot, those little paint pellets, but they don't do any real damage, and he likes to shoot mechs in awkward places while they're trying to run from him...

Awkward places, hm?
Considering the size difference, I don't think I'd play paintball with anyone around here. I get bad enough welts from my teammates back home. Plus I don't think Devcon would be too pleased if I tracked paint all over his shiny new dance floor on my way back to my quarters.

*lowers his voice to whisper to Maggie*
Ironhide aims at mech's panels sometimes if he's feeling really mean, but mostly he aims at their afts or for their visors, if they have them.
Yeah Devcon probably wouldn't be happy but you'd probably hear more about it from Starscream. And poor Maggie you'd probably drown in all the paint if we had a tournament with so many humans around - it's probably best that we don't, at least not with you guys in harm's way, because when paint gets on your optics it's hard to see and proximity sensors aren't all that great for finding humans so you might get stepped on and that'd be really bad...

Getting paint in your hair is the worst thing ever. We'd cover up pretty well when we'd play, but it always managed to happen. We're also required to wear goggles to protect our eyes, since you know how irreplaceable they are from our past conversations.
Look, Blue, you and Sides continue catching up, but I think I'm going to head back to the bar for an early night. I want to be able to make it to my room this time, you know? I'll meet you there tomorrow. *holds her arms up, as is becoming customary between the two, for a proper good bye*

*lifts Maggie up and presses her against his cheek, nuzzling and cuddling her fondly for a long moment before he sets her back down and waves a little*
Okay, Maggie, I'll see you later. I hope you recharge well tonight and maybe you'll remember your dreams and if you do will you tell me about them? I hope you have good ones, something really nice that you'll like, so I'll think really hard about you having good dreams and then maybe my thinking will influence that because I've heard that that can happen sometimes with humans, but I don't know if it would work for bots to influence humans like that...

Hmm...interesting. I will take your word on it being fun.
*Wonders if he could convince Perceptor into setting something up like that...*

It actually is kinda fun - it worked a lot better for us with the lubricant than it did with water because the humans use water but we're a lot heavier so we need something with less friction and...
Wait, sorry, I don't think we've ever met...?
*extends a hand*
Hi, I'm Bluestreak, but Sunny's started calling me 'Bluebell' which... I guess other people can call me because I don't really mind it but it's still kind of misleading because I'm not actually blue, I'm silver, as you can see, and some red, but my optics are blue, but most Autobots are and isn't that weird that there's no Decepticons with blue optics but there's Autobots with red optics?
