*The bright morning, with only a hint of rain on the horizon woke Prowl early and he busied himself about the Dojo first, giving it a little clean and preparing some tea once he was satisfied it was all done. Making his way outside he smiles at a little bird bouncing over the rocks of the garden, looking for its early morning worm. Fascinated as

One relatively successful trip later, the white mech was driving back up the path to the Dojo, a cheery tune playing from his systems.

Did you have a good trip, love?

He smiled, leaving his cargo on the floor of the Dojo and heading towards his bonded to wrap him in a quick hug and steal a playful kiss.
"Managed to scrounge up what looks like an old portable generator. It should give us enough power for what we want once I get it running."

That's a good find. I was worried that we'd have to light a fire or something to have enough heat for Sari in the winter, this would be perfect. *headtilts* Are you good with electrics? Because I have to admit... it's something I'm fairly useless at beyond the basics.

Jazz shrugged lightly, giving his mech a gentle squeeze.
"Now we just gotta figure out where to stash the thing."
Reply
Does it have to be any where in particular? Because there's space in that little room beside the dojo hall. The first-aid room?
*steals a chaste kiss from his mech before extricating himself and ducking into the living area, calling out to his mech*
Would you like some tea, while we think about it?

He replied, trailing after Prowl into the living area.
"Tea would be nice, yes."

I think so, might need to reposition the first-aid mat, but I can't see it being an issue, the room has barely been used and if any injuries do occur in the dojo, the dojo is big enough to treat them should the need arise
*sidles closer to his mech, reaching out to lightly stroke his cheek* besides would prefer you not to have to clamber onto the roof to refuel it, especially when winter comes

Smiling, Jazz curled an arm about his mech, leaning into his warmth, turning to nuzzle at Prowl's hand affectionately before sipping at his tea.
"I found a couple of spools of wire too. And some plastic tubing so we don't have wires lying all over the place. Which rooms should get power, you reckon?"

Well the living area and kitchen seems the most viable and necessary place and perhaps Sari's room for light when the days get darker... I'm not sure we'll need it in our room, but possibly in the bathroom, what do you think?

He murmured quietly, gesturing to the larger room with the hand holding onto the cube of tea.
"Keeping it completely lit would use up fuel a lot faster than all the other rooms combined, but it's not like we'd be using the training floor a lot at night. I know your piano probably needs to be plugged in too. There was a power cable stowed underneath it when Swoop and I moved it here."

*smiles at his mech*
Having the piano plugged in definitely a preference for me, though I do hope it doesn't use up too much fuel

Jazz smiled back at his bonded.
"I do want to make another trip eventually though. The generator didn't come with batteries, so we could be generating more power than we use and wasting it. A means of storing any extra juice would be prudent."
Reply
I believe Sari wishes to get for some things from the warehouse, might be worth seeing if she wants a trip when you next go.
Reply
"Sure thing. I'll check in with her the next time I go."
Reply
I'll go and start clearing the first-aid room for the generator
*gets to his feet, collecting his cube to wash it before heading into the main dojo*
