(OOC: As you all may have noticed, Nok and Inferno are pretty much dead. So, the awesome mods, are letting us reboot them, as long as they don't remember anything about Nexusville. So, this is their 'vanishing' post, so that Caia knows what'll be on the medbay cameras will show. Reactions to their vanishings go here, their reappearances will go up in a few days.)
Gray: Scorponok stared at the half empty cube, disgusted with himself. He always thought clearer after drinking energon, and right now that was the last thing he nee- Scorponok froze, his processor sparking to life with a sudden realization. It was easy. It was obvious. How had he missed it? This- this would turn everything back to normal, he could go back!
He scrambled to his feet, dashing to Inferno, showing more emotion that he had in a long while. "Inferno, Inferno!"
Gnome: Inferno grunted, and jerked his elbow, half-sparkedly raising his arm to bat Scorponok away. Unfortunately, he spent most of his time recharging instead of refueling, now, so his attempts were pathetically weak. In the end, he tilted his head jusst enough to look at the tech, one optic lighting up.
"What is it?" he snapped, his voice soft and gravelly.
Gray: "I figured it out, Inferno. I can get us back home, with our Lord!" Scorponok was showing far more emotion them he ever did, his optics bright with the energy he had consumed. He crouched, trying to pull Inferno up. "Come on! It's not that far!"
Gnome: Whining as he was tugged to his feet, Inferno struggled to stand, the complete lack of energy in his system making his knees want to give out beneath him. But he managed, lacking the enthusiasm his partner did.
Gray: Scorponok lead Inferno to the counter, grabbing a cube of energon and shoving it into his hand. "Drink while we walk. You need your energy for once we get home."
He could see it. Being back at the Darksyde, working in his workroom, his workroom, not a closet. Working under Megatron, going on missions, fighting the Maximals, making the machines Megatron needed... He's going home!
Gnome: Inferno tried to refuse the cube, pushing it back at Scorponok with a shake of his head. "Megatron doesn't want me. He killed me. I am worthless.'
Gray: Scorponok frowned, this could be an issue. "I'll change that. If we don't go back at the same time, I'll fix that. I'll keep our Lord like he should be." And he means it. He's going to do better, he's going to be the second his leader needed. He's going to teach Inferno more, not let his idiocy blind him. He has to.
Gnome: For a moment, Inferno just looked sadly at the other mech. He wanted to believe in him, he really did, but... there was just no hope left in him. Still, Scorponok was the one mech to stay with him through... all this. Somehow, he just couldn't let him down.
He drank the energon wordlessly, then set the empty cube on the counter, blinking his optics as life flowed through his once more.
Gray: Scorponok tucked his arm around Inferno again, squeezing the other in a short hug. "We'll make it through. I promise."
With that, he lead Inferno out through the Medbay door, their bodies glowing almost unnoticably as they left the building, headed home.
